With a B1G+ subscription, you get the following: 1. LIVE STREAMING (NON-TELEVISED GAMES ONLY) B1G+ offers live streaming of hundreds of NON-TELEVISED Big Ten games and events produced by the Big Ten Network in partnership with the Big Ten Conference schools. Live streams include regional network productions, Student U productions, and single-to-multiple camera feeds. A TV Provider is NOT required to subscribe to B1G+.     Last year you could subscribe to a single school at a reduced cost and watch all the events for your favorite school. They did away with that so you can only subscribe to the whole league. I still subscribed but now they put the best games on another streamer like peacock. Ripoff, really. Many of the games that are not on BTN use students for commentary and very limited camera coverage.

    Might be one of the worst apps on the App Store. You try to sign up for a subscription, only to have an error where you can’t watch. But the company charges you for the app anyway. Not only a bad app, but I question the integrity of an organization that charges you for an app that doesn’t work. Disgraceful!

    This is the worst app I’ve ever downloaded. The sound is horrendous!! The CSU announcers are unprofessional, yelling into the microphone during the game. I can’t believe I had to pay to watch this game on this app. Whoever runs this app should be ashamed. Absolutely horrible!!!

    So badly want this to be an awesome app, but broadcasts are always choppy, app quits randomly, can’t stay connected to AirPlay, needs constant maintenance just to keep working. Edit: It’s certainly still not fixed, and is actually worse this weekend. Same issues across multiple devices.

    Constant buffering and app crashing leads to a terrible watching experience. Blatant false advertising on pricing. Website makes you pay $12.99 but in Iowa it’s $9.99. This is NOWHERE on the website. Had to find out AFTER paying the $12.99. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE

    Trying to watch the Iowa women’s basketball game. Jumps back and forth. No bottom third for the first 7 minutes. Run my the 8th grade AV club at best.

  • Hiccups

    Watching any event on the app, it hiccups (skips-backward and forward) nearly every minute. Super annoying. I watch on my Apple TV. I see other reviews that complain of the same issue. I see responses that say that it’s fixed, but that’s not my experience. I have deleted the app off of my Apple TV, shut off the Apple TV and still hiccups. What else is there to do?

  • Months after being reported, AppleTV stream interruptions every 60 seconds, still

    When using the AppleTV app, every live broadcast will have an interruption every 60 seconds. I’ve reproduced the issue on four different AppleTVs each running the latest tvOS and the latest version of the Big+ app. Connected to gigabit fiber via Ethernet or dodgy WiFi, it doesn’t matter. Every 60 seconds _exactly_ there will be an interruption in the stream. I’ve reported this multiple times and provided screen recordings to their customer service and they keep attempting to close the ticket saying the issue is resolved and/or not reproducible, but still the issue continues. The developer has responded to say the issue is fixed. It absolutely is not fixed. They haven’t even updated the app in several months. This company does not take quality seriously and disrespect their paying users.
