The app no longer recognizes subscriptions and is basically useless. App developers don't seem to care that they're ripping off customers who are paying for access through the Apple app.
  • Hard to come by . . .

I subscribe to a “morning paper” that rarely gets delivered before 2:00 PM. And, when it does get here, it is thrown in my bushes, flower bed or on the rocks in our culvert! My driveway is 18 feet wide and over 50 yards long. But, our drive-by delivery driver can’t seem to hit it. I have decided to cancel my weekday subscription and just go with Sunday deliver. 🤷‍♂️

Cannot access digital edition. Called numerous times and their default reply is to uninstall and reinstall app. This does not fix the issue and I agree with what others say they just don’t care.

I subscribe to the app but can’t log on to the website. I don’t know if I need to pay extra for that, though I don’t think I should need to.

Why do I have to re-register every time I renew the app?
  • Understanding via Written Word

There is research that suggests we remember the main ideas when we read about a topic on paper Vs on a screen. Indeed, I’ve noticed I develop a deeper understanding when I read on paper than listening. I like to read various viewpoints as is often the case with both professional writers & letters to the editor.
  • Knowledge is power, especially on the local level

It is the upmost importance to understand what is going on on a local level. Without reporters who take the time to look into and question local politics, judicial decisions, and policies being passed all of these would go unchecked. It is our duty to our fellow citizens of our city to support the local reporters, their writings and inquiries

Whether it’s details about our city’s development, history, culture, governance, or individual people, I always learn something worth knowing. Letters to the editor keep my finger on the pulse of the city. Thanks for the diligence of your newsroom!
