The app is great but very few of the demonstrations show how to tie around an object and that changes the way they are tied, so it would be nice if the app included that, especially for bowlines.

I’ve had this app for years. Their updates and expansions have been awesome, I love that you can slow down and speed up the video and, really, there’s just nothing like video, as opposed to still images, for learning knots.

Learn to tie virtually any knot. So much easier using this app than trying to learn from static diagrams and written instructions.

Listen. i’ve had this app forever and the upgrades and revisions to it have made it even more useful and practical than ever. The directions are easy to follow and since the creators do such a fantastic job maintaining it, I would not hesitate if this is something you’re interested in. Love this skill.

It is all you need! The only addition that I can suggest is a recommendation for practicing these knots at home in your easy chair plus a suggestion for cord or line that is big enough to easily see and manipulate and smooth enough that your trial knots are easy to tighten. Maybe even a knot tying kit including an anchor point to start tying your knot? Would make a great teaching tool.
