I’ve had Pinterest for many years and went through the up and downs of the updates. I absolutely love many of the new features and bug fixes that Pinterest has had, I personally dislike the amount of AI I’ve seen lately but it is basically unavoidable. I’m thankful Pinterest has added a feature to detect AI pins although I’ve noticed it is often marking original works as AI which is a tad annoying. Besides this I’m glad I can turn on a feature to see less AI pins and I’ve also been thoroughly enjoying the section option on my boards! Speaking of the sectioning option I would like a feature where I can search for certain sections because one of my boards has over 100 sections and it can be quite a hassle to search for them manually. Although I love Pinterest and I carefully avoided saving pins that may result in removals or warnings I still get emails quite often that pin’s I’ve saved are marked as ‘inappropriate’ simply for artistic nudity, which can be frustrating. Anyway, another issue I’ve noticed lately is many users have been getting their accounts banned or suspended for these warnings, which terrifies me because my account holds many important pins for my projects. Many users suspect these bans are due to the AI Pinterest uses to check for these warnings but thankfully I’ve noticed this issue has subsided. Lastly, I would like to point out that I can no longer favorite pins? The feature has seemingly vanished so I hope this gets fixed! Thanks Pinterest!

I don’t know how this app still has a high rating. The search feature is completely unusable. You enter what you’re looking for and there are 12 advertisement per one result. And it makes it worse. The ads aren’t even in relationship to what you searched. The results themselves are also terrible as they don’t even focus on the actual keyword of your search. It literally pulls anything and everything that includes the characters.

Pins accounts post that i have blocked show up 2x more than accounts i follow, pins I’ve hidden show up 2x than pins i’ve saved, there is no way to curate my experience if the block and hide button doesn’t work. i don’t want these things on my feed, especially not thinks that make me feel physically sick because pinterest doesn’t care about lolicons/predators running rampant on their site, i constantly see trans race posts, and pro pedophilic ideologys, if you wont remove those posts, let me be able to not see them, maybe implement a way to hide posts with certain words? That would be fantastic.

Rarely do I write reviews, and I can count on one hand how many negative reviews i’ve written. However I used to LOVE pinterest, but a few months ago I could not scroll to a new part of my feed successfully without clicking on an ad every. single. time. In my opinion this completely derails the experience and presence of the app. Pinterest Team, please consider this when curating the app in the future as adoring users do completely notice these changes to the point of significant less usage.

I love Pinterest with all my heart and I could scroll for hours and hours, but… There are SO MANY ADS it is unbearable. My homepage is filled with ad after ad after ad and I hate it so much I needed to come and leave a review. There is no way Pinterest as a company needs that much money that I have to scroll through as many ads as pins. It is insane how downhill this app has gone since I first downloaded it almost a decade ago.

My Pinterest feed has progressively become increasingly littered with spammy advertisements. At this point nearly half of the items that appear on my feed are ads Pinterest needs to correct this ASAP. I am days away from deleting my account.

I’ve tried to download Pinterest and once I do and I put in my age which is 21 it says I am not eligible to join and I just want know why
