    Five years ago, Expedia was very customer service-oriented, but now they charge for nearly everything. I used to be a platinum member and enjoyed many perks, but even though I still hold that status, there aren’t many benefits left. It seems that hotels no longer care if you booked through Expedia. The company appears to be going downhill. Most major airlines have left Expedia and developed their own apps, making it easier to find better options. Additionally, the employees often seem unaware of how to treat customers, and sometimes it can be difficult to understand their English. I’m not criticizing their accents—I struggle with my own English as well—but it can be hard to follow what they are saying. They also charge a ridiculous fee just to assign a seat, so it's much better to go directly to your airline and manage your seat assignment yourself. Don’t fall for their expensive services. I remember when they used to give you a 24-hour grace period to hold a ticket. Now, they don’t offer that anymore and instead want to charge a lot of money. When I go directly to my airline, they often say, “Oh, you don’t even have a 24-hour hold," and they will change or cancel it for free. It's sad to see a company I used to trust going down the drain.

    I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Expedia. While traveling abroad, I was without phone signal for several days, which prevented me from contacting customer service in a timely manner. When I was finally able to reach an agent, I explained my situation in detail, yet I was met with an outright refusal to assist. Not only was the response unhelpful, but it also conveyed a lack of empathy and concern for my circumstances. This experience has left me with the impression that the company places its own interests and policies above the well-being and satisfaction of its customers. As a loyal customer, I expected professionalism, flexibility, and genuine support, particularly in situations beyond my control. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed immediately and that appropriate steps be taken to address both my case and the evident gap in customer service standards. I would also appreciate a written response outlining how Expedia intends to resolve this issue and prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future.

    I booked a reservation a while ago with my gmail address. Later, I installed this app using my Apple email. The app can find my booking w/ my gmail address and the confirmation Number but it does not let me add it to the app per se; each time, I need to “find the booking” again. The app does not let me associate other email addresses to the Expedia account. This is completely useless. If I could, I’d give it 0 stars.

    They give you a price to lure you in then change it at check out. I tried to reach out to their customer service to tell them what was happening and they were no help at all. I took screen shots as proof and they wouldn’t honor the price. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I will be deleting this app and taking my business elsewhere. Do better Expedia!

    I bought flight ticket w protection plan which is says cancel anytime get your refund but lol they transfer me another insurance and they rejected so don’t add protection it doesn’t work lol

    We had to wait in the lobby for 10 minutes until someone arrived to help us check in. Other than that the room is perfect and very clean.
