This VF is a scam. I purchased subscription but have to pay for each magazine? I paid for the yearly subscription so why do I have to keep paying? Don’t fall for this…I feel I’ve been scammed.
  • Digital subscription Worthless

I’ve been a digital only subscriber for a number of years. This month, my app didn’t auto-renew and I was advised by VF to re-subscribe. Now I learn the the digital app is not available to digital only subscribers, it’s only for paper & digital. Really!!!!! After 3 email exchanges & 3 phone calls, I was told I can only access content on the web site. Which means no offline reading. Plus not formatted for an optimal digital experience. In addition, I keep having to get activation codes each time I sign in. I plan to cancel if I can’t get this resolved.

Whoever is running Conde Nast's digital subscriptions department should be fired.

This is an absolute waste of time. I’ve been back and forth with vanity fair trying to log into the app so I can use the subscription I paid for. They keep sending me passwords that do not work and I am unable to read the magazine on the app. I very much regret making the choice to rejoin Vanity Fair.
  • Great content, bad app

They can do better than this. There is no way to increase the font so you need to enlarge and scroll side to side to read. I assume most who read this magazine are over the age of 50 most will need a better reading experience.

NOBODY LIKES THIS FORMAT! Listen to your readers. NO-one reads on an iPhone. Swallow your pride, put your tail between your legs and get your format and readership back. It'll only hurt for a sec and you can put it past you. Considered it a FAILED experiment. (I'll keep cutting down trees and keep the physical issue thank you very much). If that goes, so does my subscription. It was good while it lasted. Reading VF is (was) an experience. Now it's just a rag and a drag. VERY Disgruntled in LA U.G.H.
  • I’m so frustrated

I subscribed to most major newspapers and media publications - NY Times, Wash Post, the Atlantic, the New Yorker, and this is the most frustrating experience I have had. I signed up for a Vanity Fair subscription through the website after reading an article and seeing an amazing promotional deal. My payment had been processed, and I can read articles fine on the website, but I manage and read media publications on my phone via apps- it’s convenient, and I only use my desktop and web browser for work. So, I downloaded this app and spent an hour trying to log in with no avail. When I paid and signed up, I was told that all I needed to read articles was my email. But to access the app, I needed a password. When I tried to create/reset one, I was told my new password was invalid, and that I didn’t have an active subscription. I went back to the web version and saw an option to verify my subscription, but I needed to enter my account number. But I was never given an account number. I tried entering my order number but that didn’t work. So, can I just not use the app? Can I only access my Vanity Fair subscription through the web version? That is basically worthless. I really have to type in vanityfair.com whenever I want to read an article?(im just not going to do that) Or sign up for a million newsletters and hope that something I want to read pops up in the email inbox spam I’ll now be getting? What on earth? Every other news and media subscription I have has had a seamless and fast signup process which enabled me to use their app within minutes. I truly can’t understand why this has been so difficult. From what I’m reading of other reviewers, I’m not the only one who has had this experience. It also seems that no one at Vanity Fair cares to fix the problem or assist customers in accessing the content thr paid for. Where is your customer service? Where is your quality assurance?
  • Wow is this app bad

This is possibly the worst app I’ve ever had to endure. It cannot remember my subscription, you cannot reset your password, and it constantly glitches on downloads. I can’t tell you if the content is any good. I have yet to read a full article. Don’t waste your time!
  • Won’t recognize my subscription

I purchased the digital subscription online. I received a welcome email. I cannot download any of the monthly magazines without a charge. I’ve contacted customer service three times and all they do is send me the same regurgitated FAQ’s that I’ve already gone through. They even told me one time they could see that I had a subscription. I showed them the receipt and order number. I received my free tote bag in the mail today and still cannot download any editions of the magazine in their apps. I didn’t sign up just to read articles on your website like its 2008. They don’t seem to care one way or they other. It’s been really frustrating. Don’t bother with this magazine.
  • No Landscape Mode

I read all my newspapers and magazines on my IPad Pro while it is in its keyboard case. Vanity Fair is the only one that does not support landscape mode. This is very disappointing, please fix it.
