  • Stop asking me to subscribe

The desperation with this app CONSTANTLY begging me to subscribe to the paid version is so obnoxious, I don’t even want to use it anymore. I opened the app for 30 seconds and THREE TIMES, w window slides up asking me to upgrade. Nearly every screen is riddled with “unlock with premium!” slop. This cheapens the app so much and makes it so frustrating to interact with. Yes, it pulls data from my iPhone and watch, which is information I can already view on the Health and Activity apps on my phone. Yes, I can add “friends” and view their activity and they can view mine. None of this is satisfying when it keeps begging me to upgrade. I’ll probably delete the app.

I enjoy Strava and have been using it for years. It does a good job of connecting with my Garmin devices and I really enjoy seeing the routes and routines of my Strava friends. Negatives… I feel like it’s too expensive, especially now that it’s gone from $60 to $80 per annual subscription. It has also lead me astray by giving routes on busy streets (despite toggling “avoid “ busy roads and asking for trails and gravel). It has also sent me up hiking trails inappropriate (even scary) for biking, at times.

I have it connected to my Garmin and it always takes forever to upload run to app. Had a run at 6 it’s 8:20 and still hasn’t posted

Poor customer service. I spent way too much time trying to answer a simple question. They rely on their community boards for customer support, and you need customer support to post a question. I gave up and am going to another app.
  • i have to bring my phone with me😔

i love strava!! it works great for keeping track of XC runs, my only issue is that unless you have a watch that can connect to it, you have to run with your phone. if i could just add a run without it needing to be with me that would make my life so much easier

It’s so annoying to have to unlock my phone any time I want to check the route map or my pace. This should be easy to implement and it’s crazy the app doesn’t have it supported

I am a paying customer for the premium service of Strava. I use it for walking and martial arts exercises. Unfortunately the app does not work on my Apple Watch, and merely tells me to sign in or login on my iPhone, which I’ve already done. This malfunction renders my subscription meaningless. I intend to cancel my subscription unless Strava remedies the situation.

Very good app, very helpful for tracking time, and distance. I just wish they would add 3k for the best efforts part of the app
