    The NJ.com content takes a long while to load. Always. This isn’t a once in a while thing. It seems that sometimes it won’t load until I go to another app then return to NJ.com. I went to the app support link in the app store and it took me to the app itself. So here I am hoping this review makes it to your developers.
  • Terrible lately

    App has become basically unusable. As others have noted, it won’t start right away when you first open it. Not having basic functionally is a huge problem. Needs a fix ASAP.
  • It used to work

    Trying to start this app after the latest few updates is like trying to start up a lawnmower filled with old gasoline. It takes a few tries to get it running and then it usually doesn’t run very long. There’s no advantage to using the app, it’s much easier to get the content from their website.
  • Too slow.

    It takes 15 seconds or more for the content to load when the app starts. Hit the “Search” option and the keyboard doesn’t display. Choose a link to an article and it takes another 10 seconds to load if it ever loads at all. Absolutely ridiculous. The app has become useless.

    Why is the app now blank for 10 seconds when it opens.. takes forever to load.. this is on iphone 16 pro with all latest updates installed.. please fix this cause it never used to do this
  • Don’t Use Apple ID

    I create an account with my Apple ID and through Apple, I purchased a subscription inside the app it showed I had a subscription and could access all the premium content however, whenever I was in the web browser signed in with my Apple ID it showed that I did not have an account. I provided the support team with all the documentation from payments to cards used to screenshot showing what was happening. They had no answer. It was very frustrating experience and nothing was solved. If you can’t support people who use an Apple ID do not have it as an option.

    I was born and raised in North New Jersey and like to keep up with what’s going on in the state especially when I still have many family and friends living there. When I can’t understand is when I see an article I want to read and I find out it’s part of the paid feature of the app. I understand you need to make money but charging for information I can get on the internet is crazy. If it’s a story that probably won’t be nation wide news I can understand but when it’s something like politics when all I need to do is simply search the information on the internet and read it there. If you allowed me to read it on the app you would get revenue from ads but you’re losing that income. 👋

    iOS app is OK, reasonably easy to navigate. The content leans hard left and is too often PR for Governor Murphy (not a surprise), but the major fail is that if you sign up with Apple, you will not have access from non-Apple platforms like a Windows laptop. Multiple attempts to sign in from Windows with my Apple subscription fail. Any “subscriber only” content I want to reed must be opened in the phone app. Not sure how that fits with a subscription called “All Access.” Even forwarding NJ.com emails that welcomed me as a subscriber elicited the response that no subscription was associated with that email. Borderline scam.
