  • Poor user experience

    I’ve used this app for a long time and am a paying subscriber but recently, the last six months it has gone downhill. The app takes forever to load each time you click on it and that includes NJ.com related apps like their New York football Giants news app. Additionally, after the last update two weeks ago, every time I click on it the app takes a long time to load and then crashes out so I can’t even access it.

    The NJ.com content takes a long while - like 15 seconds - to load. Always. This isn’t a once in a while thing. Using the search function is impossible, because it waits 10+ seconds to load each character in your search term. I have reviewed this app in the past. I guess reviews don’t make it to your developers.

    I am a subscriber and this is only real NJ News site which is linked to the Star Ledger. The app is broken. It takes forever to load a story. It’s been that way for quite a while while and nobody bothers to fix it.

    Love NJ.com’s coverage of local and statewide Jersey news. The app needs some work when it comes to ads. Try to scroll past one or even look at it too long and it dumps you out to a suspicious website leading to god knows what. Better UI design would go a long way to preventing accidental clicks.

    This used to be my go-to app for all NJ news. Now every story is locked. They are attempting to force a paid subscription. Me thinks not. BYE!!!!

    I subscribe for this app to get local news- however you can barely get through an article without an ad popping up and losing the article. Try to find a HS sport score- better off and faster with safari or chrome

    I was really hoping that the newest app update would fix the extremely long time it takes the app to load. Sometimes I’m waiting four minutes for the app to respond.
