The app is designed to be used offline so No Data Plan or Internet is Needed, and No Roaming either. The app is free to download. Afterwards, you can evaluate the walking tours - see the attractions and use the fully functional offline maps included in each of the city walk guides, all for free. Terms of Use: https://www.gpsmycity.com/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://www.gpsmycity.com/privacy-policy.html Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app gives you the option to turn off the GPS tracking in the background to prolong the battery life. It is also suggested that you bring with you an external battery. Note: This app relies on GPS for its navigation functions. For best experience, it is recommended to use the app on iPhone and iPad cellular+WiFi models. It is not recommended to use the app on iPad WiFi-only models due to lack of built-in GPS support in these models. Tutorial videos for using this app can be found on our website at https://www.gpsmycity.com/mobile-app.html

Familiarize yourself with the city you are traveling too before you arrive to learn some helpful ideas. Example: Our last night in Vienna, I remembered reading about the famous Sacher Cake. I checked the app to see how far we were from it and it was 5 minutes away. It was a such a fun and special memory to share with friends the last night of our trip. I would never have known about this place had I not read about it.

I’ve used GPSMyCity all over the world from Bangkok to Reykjavik to Seattle. It’s a great way to get oriented in a new city! I love the main map and use it to find and learn about recommended sights.

Use an AI like Grok to make an itinerary and explain all the sites to you instead of paying for this. You can naturally interact using speech by asking it questions and getting high quality audio so you never have the read anything. You can even just point your camera at things in video mode and it will tell you everything you want to know.

We use this in every new European city we visit. So much easier than just wondering around hoping you didn’t miss a major site.
