  • Auto-Creating Lined Pages

I primarily use this app on my iPad for work/school, and I take a lot of notes so I almost exclusively use the lined paper setting. The computer (MacOS) app allows the user to create lined pages automatically, but this is not a feature in any other form of the app/website. Wish this would be changed

Much improved. Please add search-and-replace in the Find function. Makes our new house move-in easier.
  • I want to love it but years have passed with lacking support

I really want to love this app and everything it offers but it really bugs me that it still has the same lacking features for years…. It works well on my Mac and decent on my iPad but even worse on my iPhone. I have raised concerns to Microsoft about these issues like the lack of features between devices and printing wanting to fit everything on one page. Microsoft’s response is apple limits them from developing it, but how am I able to do the same things with other apps then? Apple tells me that isn’t true and instead it’s Microsoft’s way to create frustration and to convince them to invest in a windows device to benefit. Microsoft you need to step and get with the times. It’s time to start holding back because I’ve been using onenote for a very long time and I still haven’t bought single one of your devices.
  • Broken on iPad, Mac, and iPhone…

It’s great except for the most important feature for me: searching for handwritten notes. I use my iPad and Apple Pencil almost exclusively. I’m looking for alternatives since I can’t search for handwritten keywords! This used to work and appears to be supported. So this must be a bug.

  • Why Not ?

Why doesn’t One Note have the options that a Lap Top or Computer have. I mostly use One Note on my phone and I don’t get the same format that my Lap Top gets and I love that format. I need to find a different app.

There are so many times I want to use it but I can’t log in because I am traveling. Defeats the reason for using it!
  • OneNote - Better than Pinterest

OneNote is just the thing for me! It allows me to capture what's in a web page or just write notes, or allows me to share notes with teammates. I don't need to post anything to Pinterest when I can capture what I want in OneNote, AND I can find my stuff very easily. The app does a lot more than that, but these are the things that make me happy about it. Older versions used to automatically capture links of pages captured, but I'm not seeing that anymore. I did like that feature. If I remember correctly, it also captured the date and time of capture, making for easy references later on. I miss that.

Terrible note taking app. Can’t change font sizes on my iPhone. Lots of quirks you have to deal with.
