News, analysis, commentary are all highly curated to illuminate what is important world to me and YOU. In case you don’t subscribe yet, it’s worth every penny. New Over Audio is a great feature although is is a bit siloed within the Atlantic app. I would very much like to see a red A show up in my car’s apps for listening.

Of all the media I subscribe to and read The Atlantic is my favorite. The articles are well sourced and interesting and cover the issues of the day with wit and intellect. The authors of the articles are some of the best minds of these times and I appreciate the wide range of subjects. I also like your book recommendations although I don’t always agree.

I love the variety of choices I have to read. I tire of too much politics and soft reads.

Freezes or stalls every time there’s a picture of any kind, ad or illustration. The newish Games section is very clunky, with unnecessary title screens, and everything is slow to load, perhaps because of this redundancy. Complaints about malfunction they the answer: “delete and reinstall.” Very annoying to use overall.

The Atlantic continues to have great content alongside some of the worst out-of-touch editorials. This is a tipping point for them. Do they care about the truth or is it more important to be viral on the internet?

  • Annoying app

There are some very annoying things about this app. When you load an article you were part way through, it sporadically jumps around every 10 seconds as the ads load, making you lose your place. Also, when I search for a specific author, it does not show me their articles. Then when you click on an authors name that you like, it pulls up a browser window that I’m not logged into, instead of just showing more articles by that author in the app. Every day annoyances that tempt me to drop my subscription. I’m only here because I like the writer David Sims.

The reason I subscribed to The Atlantic was because articles kept popping up that I really wanted to read. That remains true. It’s non-fiction articles tell stories just like a good piece of fiction. No wonder reporters, commentators, and experts in their field continue to want to be seen in print here!

Atlantic Magazine is the top journalism source today. It is my 1st choice to read every morning. The highest quality journalism in a field of sycophants caving in to a bully who is fast becoming a dictator because of business owners who put their greed ahead of their journalists.
