    The app takes minutes to open. Latest updates have made it garbage to open it and use it quickly. Please fix this issue already

    This isn’t about the content but about the app itself. You click to open the app and you have to sit there staring at nothing until it finally loads. You click on a category in the menu and nothing happens. Thinking it didn’t register the click, you do it again and find yourself in a story. That’s because it did register the click, it was just really slow to load, and you’ve inadvertently clicked on a story. So you have to back out and do it again.

    I have a tough time getting the app to load then once loaded it crashes. Being out of town I still enjoy the writer’s but it’s getting tough to continue using.

    I’ve emailed three times my Content will not download. I’ve done everything to try to fix it. Though I will say they are very good at charging you every month even though this is the worst app ever. I live out of town. It’s the only reason I’ve put up with it so that I can read about the city I love but it’s time to cancel the subscription.

    Long time user of app, primarily because of sports teams. But this app is the most clunky, frustrating app I use as a paying subscriber. The channel selection works once, then I have to get out of app and go back in. One thing that always works great though is their offers for discounted subscriptions and ads.

    Lots of annoyances, but perhaps the biggest one is that when you click on a another story below the one you just read, the link takes you out of the app to a browser and wants you to sign in there. Utterly ridiculous.

    I downloaded this app because I recently moved to Cleveland and wanted to get more familiar with local news and events and integrate as a clevelander… but was disappointed to see shallow and whining articles such as this one published by cleveland.com (in its entirety posted below), which clearly is so enriching for newcomers to Cleveland and Clevelanders everywhere: “Who is left to vote for Trump? He has insulted and angered women, teachers, firefighters, police, veterans and those presently in the military -- and now he’s going after federal government workers, calling them “crooked,” and vowing to hold them accountable. “Even many of his fans must be losing their respect for him. Former Trump press secretary Stephanie Grisham told the Democratic National Convention that Trump called his own supporters “basement dwellers.” “For those in the above categories, if you’re still voting for Trump, you need to do a little research.” Name withheld by request, Mayfield Heights The writer is a retired teacher
