  • Bait and switch

    So I usually use this app every year for 3-4 months 1-2 times a year for my baseball rec league teams, usually pay 10-15 bucks for 3 months, when I register this season I had been solicited to pay $49 for who year. I was mislead to thinking I would have features on the “premium plus” I would get availability and other features needed and that I use every season. Nope! I still have to pay to receive those features. I’m disputing with Apple for misguiding. Since I was able to pay through App Store, usually they circumvent App Store, for obvious reasons. Beware. Use a different service , they have gotten too big to act like that. Very disappointing!

  • Widget Update

    Really Great app in general, I love using it for the sports teams I am on. However the one thing I wish it did is on the widget it should say vs. for home and @ for away. Right now it says vs. for both and I always have to click the app and open it and go through like 7 more clicks just to see whether my game is home or away. Good app in general but that is too inconvenient for me to use.

  • Chat is messed up

    In the new update, the chat notification comes up in an overlay window rather than take you straight to the chat section of the app. What happens is when you close this window the chat section never loads right. I have to kill the app and restart. This was a 5 star app until this new chat function really ruins it.

  • Did premium trial - fail

    Not sure what the point of a premium account through the App Store is when it appeared we would get the ability to know availability but when I signed up, that feature never unlocked. It seems you can only pay for that feature through their website which I am not giving their company my cc info on their own website. Why is this subscription not available thru their app through this App Store as an option? If it is then they need to fix that feature cuz it is not working in my app and I have deleted the app, updated my phone, restarted my phone, etc. make your plans clearer!

  • Chat is extremely buggy

    The app overall is okay, but not as good as others. Specific for about a month, even after re-downloading the app a number of times, chats don’t work well. I’ll get notifications of messages and see as a preview, but when I go open in the app, I can’t see it. Typically it only shows as of 10 hours ago, or 3 days ago, but it’s not live. I’ve checked settings in the app and my iPhone. I’ve deleted and redownloaded. I’ve tried to go on the website version but chats only exist in the app. It’s really frustrating.

  • Good app but one big issue

    I use this app for every sport and it has been very useful. My biggest complaint (and it’s a big one) is that I have notifications that won’t go away. It’s not just me, it’s everyone I know who uses it. I think I figured out that this is the case because I had a notification when a team was closed out and therefore can’t get back to clear the notification. Fix this… 5 stars.

  • Advertisements like fingernails on chalkboard

    This has to end. Two kids, multiple sports and multiple team subscriptions to this app and service. Through their leagues and clubs, my family has paid at least a hundred dollars for teamsnap over the past several years. And slowly, the ads trickled in. First they were inserted on the home page, then on the schedule tab. But now? Now they do full-screen takeovers! Like I’m on YouTube or cable tv or something, except I’m just a dad looking for what time my kid’s game starts. It’s frustrating and greedy and I hope at least one club sees this and thinks twice before signing up!

  • Advertising Overload (And We Have a Paid Plan)

    I coach 4 teams between 2 sports, been using this app for years, and have paid them hundreds over time. I pay, I see no ads. But my parents are inundated with full screen ads and some can’t figure out how to close them, so can’t even access. When they login, there’s a full screen pop up for them with a tiny x they miss/don’t see, and don’t even make it past that screen. Renders the entire application unusable for them. Not all people are tech savvy. When I pay money for the entire team I don’t expect them to have a brick of an app at their expense on their phones. Recommendation: get rid of the full screen ads immediately. They alone have made me leave this platform for a competitor and are tacky and gross and cheapen this once great app.
