really wish they’d do something about all the bots/scammers joining groups just to try to “sell” things

This is the worst group chat option on the planet. Most unreliable app on my phone. Absolutely zero support options. Deleting. My friend group is switching this platform.

I use whats app a lot so maybe I’m spoiled with my expectations, but WhatsApp feels like it’s in another level compared to group me. Would like have the interface improved adding more features like what WhatsApp has and make it faster like WhatsApp sometimes it takes forever to load some messages

The app will not let me log into my account! I just got a new phone and have many needs for it but it just doesn’t work! Customer service is unresponsive and not helpful! Nothing seems to fix this! Not well managed!

I use the app daily and one of the best feature that hasn’t worked over the last few months is the polls. I use a poll 1-2 times per week thinking that it was updated and fixed but it doesn’t work.

I’m a band kid and I need this app to communicate with my fellow low brass but any time I try to sign in or create an account it say error try again but never what the error is/ how to fix it. But when I get to the texting your phone part it freezes and kicks me out.

Hi, GroupMe is a great way to make friends who have the same interests as you by joining GCs! It’s very easy to use and it’s awesome that Anyone can make a GC! I am the owner of a rather large Kpop group chat and we’ve been having problems messaging regularly for the past month. The main chat would be black or completely frozen. Messages aren’t loading and u can’t send your own too well anymore. I’ve had problems with seeing content in the main chat gallery for 2 months. Also, my admins and I have added requests but they weren’t actually added. Also our GC profile picture isn’t changing publicly so if u could fix that problem it would be great. Also the search for messages is completely useless it doesn’t even search for what you typed in or what you did type in doesn’t come up in messages. Many members are having these problems and it’s a big issue. On another note, it would be great if admins could also turn on Announcement Mode too as it would make things a lot easier! All these things are VERY inconvenient especially as an Owner. The problems are getting worse and more frequent the longer it is NOT Fixed. Please find a way to fix these problems as soon as possible.

I reported a GroupMe member for a fake check scam and received an email saying they didn’t break the guidelines. They’re still sending me messages like: “Hi, I'm an artist working on a mural project and I think your face would be a great inspiration. Would you be interested in collaborating, and if so I'd be happy to discuss compensation.,” (Sends images stolen off the internet as examples of her work when asked) “I was thinking of using the picture on your profile for the art mural dear. 😊💕 For the painting, I would be creating an oil on canvas, 50cm x 50cm portrait using your face or one of your posts as my inspiration for reference. My client would also be compensating you with $500. I hope that’s fine” “Perfect, my client intends to make payments as soon as possible. So the piece can be completed before next week and i can also send you a copy of it when it’s done.” “What state are you so I can mail you a copy of the portrait once done?” “My client will be paying through checks and it will be written in your name and sent to your email since we’re in collaboration. Are you familiar with mobile deposit?” “Alright, what bank are you depositing the paycheck through if I may ask and what color would you prefer the artwork frame to be🙂?” “Alright, The check is for $1500 while your cut from that would be $500, I will use the remaining to get the painting materials and also take the remaining profit for my service. They took my phone number, and The next day, the number of spam calls I received went up dramatically and hasn’t stopped. My password never worked, and in spite of the messages that I received on the app that they were sending me an email to reset it was never any emails in any of my inbox. An incredible waste of time if I ever find out who owns the company I’m gonna send him a bill.
