Description

The best dating app to let you really be you and choose how you want to date online. Forget the days of awkward online dating and become a POF member, where you can come exactly as you are. We’re here to help you create the same magic online that you would IRL. We know online dating isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we let you choose your own adventure and connect with other singles in a way that feels right for you. Whether you’re new to dating or just seeking a fresh start, we’ve got lots of options to make finding your person actually fun. What you can do on POF is what makes us different: - Selfie Verification so you can see who’s really behind the profile - Search for exactly what you want - Restrict your first message count so you don't get 1 and 2 word intros - Come as you are and find other real, down-to-earth people like you Just click that install button to get started! POF is part of the Match Group portfolio which also includes Tinder, Match.com, Hinge, OkCupid, Meetic, The League, BLK, Chispa, Upward, Stir and OurTime. • SCAMMERS

My account was deleted for reporting SCAMMERS. And they did not even refund me. Not even after I reached out to them several times. There are many similar profiles with the same name “ANNA” who pretend to like you. After initiating a conversation they start to convince you to do crypto currency. Would not recommend for anyone to join this DISSERVICE. You would be wasting your time. Time that can be better spent on a much better dating app. BE WARNED.

  • Worst dating app ever.

Genuinely is so terrible, First can’t verify my account no matter how I show my face it doesn’t work. Secondly all my pictures get taken down since they don’t all fully show my face. So I can’t even show my pets or foods I’ve cooked. So i haven’t even been able to experience the app with all these messed up rules.

If I could give this bum app zero stars. I would. It’s straight up trash. And they flood your notifications with “likes” that of course you have to pay for. It’s soooo dated. Anyone could just dm you. This app has gone down and I can’t even believe it is actually still functioning. So if you’re considering getting this app, Please, Don’t!!!! Go to Hinge.

I think the messaging alone could improve… we’re not allowed to copy and paste which is weird; sometimes the messages don’t always pop up after the notification comes…
  • Bogus Profiles

Way too many fake profiles. People don’t know their ethnicity, how to spell their city, and attended “university” rather than college as most people would say in the U.S. With so many lunatics in this world, POF does a horrible job screening users and allows fake profiles (I firmly believe they generate many of them). This is the type of website/app that ends up being mentioned on Dateline when someone disappears! Sometimes you come across a legitimate person, but my best guess says at least 60 percent of the profiles are fake.

  • Match Group Erased Me. I Still Don’t Know Why

I was permanently banned from Match.com, OurTime, Plenty of Fish, and OkCupid. All are owned by Match Group. I did not violate any terms. I did nothing inappropriate. I was given no warning and no explanation. On Match.com, I subscribed and sent one respectful message. The next morning, my account was gone. I emailed support three times. They refused to explain and eventually stopped responding. They refunded me, but never told me what I supposedly did wrong. Then I joined OurTime. I did not send any messages. I liked two profiles. Banned within 24 hours. I created accounts on Plenty of Fish and OkCupid. Both banned me after a day. I had no conversations and no interactions. I was simply removed. Each time I contacted support, I received the same copy-pasted reply. I was told I violated their Terms and Conditions. No one would explain how. No proof was ever given. No questions were answered. I believe a false report on Match.com triggered an automated blacklist across all Match Group platforms. This appears to be a system with no human oversight, no appeals process, and no accountability. I later discovered that many users on Reddit have experienced the same thing. People are being banned from all Match Group apps with no reason, no warning, and no way to fix it. There are dozens of stories just like mine. Match Group controls nearly every major dating app. If they remove you from one, you are removed from all of them. There is no transparency. There is no fairness. There is no recourse. This is not a dating platform. This is a digital monopoly that punishes users without due process. I will be filing formal complaints with the FTC, Apple, and state consumer protection agencies. Avoid Match Group and every app they own. They are not accountable to you. They are not honest with you. They are not safe.
