Description

AwardWallet can track almost any type of loyalty points, such as frequent flier miles, hotel points, or credit card points. Load up all of your loyalty accounts and let AwardWallet track all of them for you. In addition to tracking points and miles (and account expirations) AwardWallet also has the following amazing features: * Management of travel plans. Link your mailbox and let AwardWallet track all of your travel reservations. We will send you push notifications if and when your flights are delayed or canceled and let you share your travel plans with friends and family. * Credit card spend analysis. Add your bank accounts to AwardWallet and let AwardWallet analyze your spend and tell you if you are using the right credit cards. This way, next time, when you are shopping, you can use the card that gives you the maximum number of points at a given merchant. * Merchant lookup tool. Enter any merchant name, and we will tell you how it is coded and which cards earn the most points at that merchant. * Account balance watch. If you are transferring points from your bank into your airline account to book a flight and that transfer is not instant, you can have AwardWallet monitor this account. As soon as we detect the change, we will send you an email and a push notification. * Loyalty account history. In addition to tracking your loyalty account balance and expiration, we also load all of your historical account transactions into AwardWallet, so you have one place to review all of your loyalty transactions. AwardWallet Plus subscription gives you the following additional features: * Displaying additional reward account properties * Showing all of your loyalty account expirations where expiration is known. * When you update all of your accounts they are updated in parallel, up to 5x faster. * More comprehensive monitoring and tracking of your flights. AwardWallet Plus is a subscription-based service, the subscription length is 1 year and when you subscribe it will be set to auto-renew every year thereafter. The cost of the subscription is $30.00 per year without an early supporter discount and $10.00 per year with an early supporter discount. AwardWallet Plus subscriptions purchased from the app will be charged to your iTunes account and will automatically renew within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period unless auto-renewal is disabled beforehand. To manage your subscriptions or to disable auto-renewal, after purchase, go to your iTunes account settings. No refunds will be issued after the annual subscription fee has been charged. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited once a subscription is purchased. • Fabulous App

Getting into the miles and points game was easy to track with one or two credit cards but as my card stack increased so did the upkeep of keeping everything straight. Award Wallet is a WIN in my book! It automatically updates my points across all accounts. I also love the blog

This is a great app for tracking loyalty points and CC points. They probably have the most complete list of programs. However, the blog is super glitchy whenever I try to read on my phone. Hope they’ll find a fix for this soon.
  • Punishes users of free version with spammy marketing emails 👎

I’ve been battling their support team to make it easier to disable their marketing emails if you’re on a free plan and would still like to receive important emails without punishing you in the process. Evidently, someone in their company thought it was a good idea to make this a paid option since only paid users can disable these! All other individuals are simply punished by being forced to receive all their marketing emails if they still want to receive all other useful email notifications about their rewards program and reservations. The only way to disable their awful marketing emails when using their free plan is to unsubscribe from ALL email notifications (even the ones you would normally want to receive), which seems extremely petty and greedy. To make matters worse, the option to disable all emails doesn’t save properly so you’re in this endless fight of trying to unsubscribe from them. This killed the app for me and I will never use it again.
  • Can’t Turn Off Marketing Emails

AwardWallet was great for years, but recently I started getting all sorts of spam emails from them that seems impossible to turn off. I’ve tried multiple times now over the course of several weeks and every time it has seemed not to save (and like other reviews have said, for free users they only give you the option to turn off ALL emails, including transactional ones you’d normally want). I’ve finally given up and created a Gmail rule to automatically flag everything from AwardWallet as spam; I just can’t take it anymore. I also plan to file FTC and BBB complaints if I keep getting these after what is now my fourth unsubscribe attempt. If you want to pay for your “free” tier by flooding your users’ inboxes with ads, that’s your prerogative, but by law US companies HAVE to let me unsubscribe from their emails; not sure if this is a bug or if it’s intentionally ignoring my choice to try to grab a little more cash; either way, this is not the way to do business.
  • Asking for too much personal information

You must be out of your mind for me to give you username and password for my royalty cards, credit cards, and membership information. This is insane! Update to developer response: Security is only part of the concern here…

While the upcoming price increases is unfortunate, the features and reliability is unmatched by other apps.

Chase is always broken on the app and support keeps saying to update on a computer. What’s the point of an app then?!
