I have an upcoming river trip to the San Juan in Utah and I purchased maps from RiverMaps that were designed for Avenza. They worked great before the latest update, but now they are all messed up. I called RiverMaps and it’s an Avenza issue.

The difference between subscribing through the App Store and subscribing directly through Avenza results in nothing but headaches and a poor user experience. This company is clearly fine taking your money, providing subpar confusing support, and telling you to pound sand

I’ve been using Avenza for years to navigate during hikes—seeing your dot on a map is a wonderful feature. The quality of maps are great, and there is a huge selection of free and paid maps for all regions!

I can’t leave a review for a map in the app without filling out a multi-word title _and_ review body. Just let me give it a rating so dumb.

I had a collection of free and purchased map on this app a few years ago. An update deleted all but a few, only those currently available. I rebuilt the library to about half the number. This recent updated made four of them obsolete and unusable. Update.--They wiped out my map collection a second time, leaving just 3 of a dozen original maps. I deleted the app as I can find the maps elsewhere as the app reduced available maps.
