    I don’t know how this is so highly rated. Their app is absolutely not user friendly and way easier to use their website.

    Horrible reliability, half the time I have to use a browser and go to the website to see the answer the app just says it’s been answered and doesn’t show anything. On top of that you only get one device you can “register” the app to that’s just pathetically greedy.

    I used to love chegg but recently most solutions have been removed and you’re just not getting value out of your subscription anymore

    The format on computer is awful. The solutions is trapped in a tiny narrow column and there is no way to wide screen it. Scrolling back and forth, up and down… so annoying and hard to read formula to learn how to solve. There should be a way to turn on the AI comparison feature. It is useless and takes up so much space.

    I’ve seen multiple reviews of the same issues and it has yet to be resolved. It’s a huge disappointment and waste of money. I’ve spoken with Chegg support multiple times about not being able to see the expert solutions and it hasn’t been resolved. Why as the consumer should we waste our hard earned money on an app that’s choosing not to listen to the customers when an issue occurs. I canceled my subscription.

    When I look up a question, every single solution says “one of our experts is on it, we’ll let you know when a solution is ready”. However, it says that to every single question, even ones with thumbs up, showing it’s already been answered. Yet I can’t see any of the answers. This has been an issue for about 2 weeks and no one at Chegg can give me any answers. I want a refund for this month!! Also, when I sent my question to an expert, it just replied with old similar questions from their library. No expert worked on my question and it charged me one of my expert answers. And I did not get an answer.

    I’ve looked up so many different homework questions and all it gives me is that an expert is working on it. On all the options it gives me even the ones that have a thumbs up showing that it’s been deemed correct it still shows up with that progress bar. It’s getting so annoying because I need the most help on these questions and this app doesn’t help at all.

    I’ve been getting charged for chegg for over a year now and I thought I had canceled my subscription. The help questions aren’t accurate because it says I should find it under order but the only option that shows up in my account is to delete my account and I don’t think that will solve my issue of being charged every month. I’ve been out ou school for almost a year now and just realized I’ve been paying chef monthly.
  • App works worse than website

    Consistently I find myself pressing a chegg link to a solution that opens the chegg app only for there to be no solution to the question. I go back to my browser and open the link and browser and I can see the answers. The only benefit to the app is that it remembers your device, but what’s the point of that if you can’t even see the solutions?

    It seems like every couple of weeks, a new issues arises. They just patched some bugs and now new ones pop up. For the price, it’s more than frustrating
