  • Very Difficult to Cancel

I subscribed to the Daily Mail but less than 24 hours later decided to cancel and it has been a nightmare! In order to proceed, there is no “cancel” option on your account so instead they ask you to call a US number, which is where I am at, but when I tried, the number does not work where I live. They list other phone numbers, for the UK and Ireland, but I refuse to incur in expensive international charges just for this. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS!
  • Great way to save time reading the news!

I love the Daily Mail app because of the way the stories always start with 2-3 bullet points capturing highlights of the story. Works great when you don’t have time to read the full article.
  • Biased Towards Conservatives

Genuinely, I like the news feed, especially when it consists of UK “impressions” of American people, places, and politics. However, over the last several months, I’ve noticed writers JUMPING on stories that emphasize the “Orange Man is Bad” BS. I’m not overly sensitive to this, but I no longer believe that the Daily Mail is neutral in the reporting of the news. In fact, I have been thinking about deleting the app entirely. There’s so many other ways to get the news, I really don’t want or need the constant bias.

I used to love DM but now they are charging a subscription fee if you want to read a lot of the articles. I understand a few articles buts it's becoming almost every other one. I can google it and get it for free!
  • Mississippi

I am close to deleting this app solely because of the stupid Mississippi ad that won’t even let me scroll without opening a pop up. It’s constant and the only ad that does it. It might not be as bad if it wasn’t on every story at least 3 times. Fix that ad and I’ll fix my review.
  • Why paid

I was enjoying it until it became paid
  • The worst

More than one ad pops up while reading an article. The constant freezes. The worst grammar and writing done by toddlers. Extremely biased on certain subjects and constant barrage of info on pointless celebs. The fact that you now have to PAY to read an article on anything makes it even worse. Don’t bother.

If you don’t want to know what happens the second it happens turn off notifications. I would never do such a thing! I love this app! It’s first to report things and their stories are fact checked not full of un-named sources.
