    I am a lifetime member and have been disappointed. The main issues are: (1) plex does not automatically play downloaded versions of videos if one is downloaded AND you have an internet connection. If the WiFi or cellular connection is weak, it will try to stream instead of just play the version downloaded on the device. I need to turn off cellular and WiFi if I want to play downloaded versions. (2) plex does not auto play the next video in the downloaded list. It should. (3) when streaming and auto play is on, 50% of the time, the audio from the previous video plays OVER the audio from the current video. Not sure why. Need to close plex and restart. (4) for some reason, we CANNOT delete all or select downloaded videos to delete. We need to swipe, tap delete, and then confirm delete for each video. It’s tedious.

    When you search out tech issues, you just have a library of “what maybe wrong” but that doesn’t help. THE FAVORITES DON’T WORK. THEY DONT WORK ON SEVERAL PLATFORMS THEREFORE ITS NOT A ME PROBLEM, ITS A YOU PROBLEM. IVE NEVER SEEN AN APP NOT HAVE A WAY TO TALK TO TECH SUPPORT. UNREAL. How do you report issues with the app? I can’t it on the app. Just yesterday I couldn’t access my favorites list at all. Checked on another device to see if it was happening and it was so it’s not my phone or tablet. When you pull up favorites, it says the channel is not available anymore. On the tv version of the app, it doesn’t show the schedule at all for favorites but is just showing the channel name. Can you fix this please? There should be a way to report in app for any problems.

  • Awful UI Update

    Worst UI Update ever. Everything is harder to find, more taps and clicks to get to libraries, app loads the wrong servers if it doesn’t connect instantly. What was wrong with the old one and having a list of libraries on the sidebar instead of reconnecting to different servers? I wish I could tell myself I’m the past to not buy a lifetime membership if I knew what this company was going to become.

    I love the selection of titles, both TV and movies, but i have to constantly shoot down and reopen with this app just to get to my episode.

    In the app “redesign”, LiveTV is unusable when using recording. You can’t watch live while recording, it jumps to the beginning and can’t fast forward.

  • Excessive Heat and Battery Drain on iOS

    I experience very fast battery drain and heat from my devices using Plex on my iPhone and iPad. When I searched, I realized others had the same problem. Plex has known about it for months, but still no fix. Buyer beware!
