    This continues to be a poorly designed UI/UX. It has been perhaps a year and I continue to feel the app is clunky. Watching a TV show takes multiple taps. Everything used to be unified together (all your libraries, downloads, etc) but it continues to be broken up into their own clunky sections. Live TV also has been basically unusable on mobile. The Apple TV app is still great - take steps towards that direction Plex

    My previous review had several updates across several months tracking what has been resolved and what has not been fixed. My review was rightfully critical of this app and their recent decisions and now it’s been deleted. I’m not surprised. This app is horrible. It crashes constantly, freezes, the UI design is 10 steps backwards, the battery drain is a huge issue. It constantly stutters when resuming playback even when playing locally from device storage. It takes forever to scroll through videos whereas before it was instant over my LAN. I’m now looking up instructions on how to side load an older version of the app so I can at least use what I paid for.

    To say the new UI is step backwards wouldn’t even scratch the surface. Its overly simplified design is more frustrating than useful. Tons of features completely wiped out, a pain to navigate or find any useful customization (or anything useful at all). So instead they push the Dash app, which is even less useful.

    The platform keeps crashing. It plays a movie for 10-20 minutes,then it gives an oblique error message,and makes you start the movie over again and won’t let you pick it up from where it crashed. There was an update just before Easter that started this problem and it persisted for nearly 2 months,until they made a patch the developers assured would fix this issue. For a while it did.,but now it has started back up again, and it is truly beyond annoying. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE FOR GOOD,as I have no idea how to get in touch with the developers.
