    I paid for 3 Adult to have breakfast.. I should not be allowed to do so if only Two Adults can eat free.. had to pay for the third daily out of pocket.. Very disappointed with booking.com for this

    I signed up for an account with Booking.com via my PC. Then I downloaded the app on my phone. Everytime I try to login via the app, Booking.com thinks it’s an unauthorized login so it locks my account and forces me to reset my password. I guess I am stuck using Booking.com on the PC even though it’s 2024.

    They charged me for the stay when I never even check in! And gave notice! Booking.com blames the Inn would not refund the money. The Inn blames Booking.com ! Sounds like a scam to me! Never again!

    You guys wouldn’t believe what I have to go through just to get Booking.com to refund me $57, due to The Dixie of Orange County violating their TOS, by asking for a cash deposit, which was not disclosed on their listing. It’s been a week, and I’m still being bounced back and fourth between these two businesses. You would think that this would a simple open and shut case due to the violation, but Booking.com is so adamant about the fact that they need to get a hold of the hotel and or get them to respond back. It’s been one week! Clearly the hotel knows they are in the wrong and are avoiding having to refund me. Long story short, I booked a room, I showed up, was presented with a cash deposit which I did not have, nor was that disclosed on the app. I was told by the cashier that I could use a credit card, but it would take 5-6 days to get the deposit back. But for some reason, despite the fact that she mentioned that option, she kept telling me to use the on-site atm machine. The on-site atm charges a $3.50 fee, on top of the $50. I went back up to the window, said I’m not paying all this additional money. She told me how she was new there. I said I’m new there to. We went back and fourth and she still would not take my credit card to use for the deposit. She called the owner. I went back and fourth with the owner, who then told me to call Booking.com. I sat at the property, called Booking.com, gave them the whole rundown, and it was Booking.com who told me that the motel did not have anything on their listing about a cash deposit, and how they needed to reach out to the motel, simply for the motel to refund me. Why is Booking.com needing to reach out to one of their customers, who falsely represented their business on their app? They’ve already proven to be dishonest. Its 7am and today was my second time calling the hotel. The chick I talked to sounded half a sleep, took my information down and said she’d give me a call back around 4-5pm. Umm… if you work 8hrs, she’ll be off by then. Today was also my second time calling Booking.com with the same story. Come to find out, the hotel marked me as a no show. I guess I made up this whole story…? When speaking to the CSR @ Booking.com, I told her I literally just got off the phone with the chick at the hotel and how she could call right now while I wait on the line. To my surprise, the CSR comes back with how she still can’t get a hold of the motel. So now this has been escalated and sent to another department. So I guess I’ll be waiting another week or so for my $57. As soon as I get my refund, I’m deleting this app. This was my first and last time ever using it.

    If I could give 0 starts I would. Recently was unable to make it to our reservation so I called 72 hours in advance to cancel the hotel. In the email as well as who I spoke with stated there was FREE cancellations up to 72 hours and that I would receive email confirming cancellation called for 3 days straight each time it was resent confirming the reservation was cancelled. I still had not received anything so I gave booking a call and was told that there were no cancellations which was incorrect because the email that was sent states free cancellation. Long story short the person I spoke with was not very friend and got very frustrated when I was trying to under stand and explains that my reservations were already cancelled and just would like to know when I’ll get my refund. He pretty much stated that I’m not getting a refund. So I’m just confused on how they are allowed to pocket $500 and get away with not refunding that money. It’s sad that they are taking advantage of people like that. I unfortunately will no long use booking.com and will not be recommending it to anyone.

    When a family emergency came up. I needed a cheap room (but nice) fast. I used my Booking. Com app and I was immediately shown hotels in my price range! Booking.com is so easy to work through anytime I have used it! Thanks!
