Will continue to charge your credit card after cancelling and makes you jump through hoops to fix. Also, non-business articles are now gravitating towards liberal bias.

The reporting use to be one of the more unbiased, apolitical avenues for news. The president hit piece was the last story for me.

Hate the new navigation, we get familiar with something and then it changes…a frustrating pattern. A simple drop-down of sections from the left corner, along with the back button up there too, was better the what we have now. Also, add story reader comments to the iOS app. I know it can be done…take note of The Telegraph app.
  • Auto play ads

just imagine that it’s 2 AM and you can’t sleep. So you start reading content WSJ on your tablet when you somehow initiate an ad with a very loud, strident voice that you cannot turn off as you fumble about looking for the down volume button and can’t see a way to stop the ad from playing. And then on top of this, your spouse wakens…
  • Crashes . Audio stops unexpectedly

Latest update continues the trend of broken audio narration of articles. App exits unexpectedly. By experimentation , I’ve learnt setting the auto lock on the iPhone to never fixes listening to articles without the app exiting unexpectedly. That tells me the app is likely using an embedded browser that stops audio when the phone locks. Reconsider your customer’s usage patterns. Support customers who are not looking at the screen but want to listen articles when the phone is locked. That also respects the customers security preferences
  • Not useful while commuting in NYC

This app doesn’t work at all while I am commuting on the NYC subway, because it doesn’t preload content for offline viewing. On the other hand, Financial Times loads pretty much everything I want within 30 seconds while I am waiting for my train.
  • Improving but the ads are annoying

The disastrous product from the big update has been mostly fixed but other issues remain. Now there are ads inserted in the articles so I need to pay attention to whether it is a picture related the article or some random ad. I pay a subscription not to see ads. Additionally, the videos inserted in the articles that auto play are very annoying. It is difficult (at least for me ) to read text next to a video that keeps looping in my field of vision. Please remove them or give me the option to play them or not.
