    I purchased the ESV study bible app years ago and now Crossways is updating and I have lost all access to the study bible. It keeps trying to get me to purchase a monthly plan to access it. Won’t be doing that since I’ve already paid and that wasn’t kept. Don’t waste your time with this.

  • Good app with good purpose but mediocre execution

    It’s the Bible… so it’s good… but there’re little bugs that are kind of annoying, like image assets for the library that don’t load, or resizing issues and confusions depending on the device, it feels like the app can’t decide if it wants the pullout menu on the bottom or the right side, and it seemingly chooses at random.

    Very clunky, does not sync across platforms. On the reading plan phone version tracking, you have to tap exactly the circle just so or it will take you back to the text. Devotionals fail to load properly on a consistent basis, or play video without sound. Seems like there are a lot of really easy fixes.

    I enjoy this app so much! The resources are also fantastic. One feature request. It would be great to curate a playlist with chosen scripture passages. Please 🙏🏼

  • Bookmarks are only stored locally. No good for reading across multiple devices.

    App doesn’t refresh bookmarks across devices. They appear to be local only, so reading on you Mac then switching t5o your phone there’s no way to just seamlessly pick up. ESV is one of my favorite translations! If you’re reading this please know that God sees you, call on Jesus today!!! <3
