Just an overall amazing tool that when used enough will have you remembering the names of all the peaks in your town!

I can’t believe I did not have this app sooner, as an outdoor enthusiast I have experience with many of the navigation apps like Gaia, AllTrails, CalTopo and more. This app works great in the backcountry and is intuitive.
  • Not what I expected

I had hoped the we could see and identify the mountain ranges from our porch. The compass directions are not aligned. What mountains we do know this app shows them behind us. Recalculated twice and no improvement. It is not real time just a sketch of the ranges. The camera is off on mountain ranges.

I’ve tried learning/using several apps for planning location photoshoots, but none does it as easily and quickly as PeakFinder. I may open those others if I wand different info, but PF usually gets me all I need to know in much less time. Thanks to their team for this irreplaceable tool.
  • Interesting but location hasn’t worked in several years

I liked this app, but it has thought I was in Ireland for several years. It won’t update my location and wants me to step outside even though I’m 40 miles from a structure.
  • Love this app

I’ve been using this app for ages. So often when we travels there’s an impressive or unique peak that we wonder about. With this app, wonder no more! It’s like magic, point your phone and it overlays the horizon. Adjust slightly and boom! Peak names. Last year I even started taking some photos through this app and it will overlay peak names. Always impresses people when I share those.
  • Not worth the money

This app is utter nonsense and not worth the money.

This app is outstanding. You can download data offline, annotate photos, etc. It is also not a subscription and I feel as if my photos are permanent.
  • Not accurate

I’m in Washington pointing my phone right at Mt Baker and the app is giving me the names of peaks in Canada.
  • Thanks for a great app!

Kudos to Peakfinder! I’ve been using Peakfinder for nearly 10 years and it has always excelled at identifying peaks for me whether I’m in Maine, Colorado, Wyoming, wherever. Recently the old version that I had installed failed because it was no longer supported. Fabio Soldati of Peakfinder responded promptly and provided a free update. I really appreciate this since not all developers stand by the original purchase when it has “aged out.” Thanks, Fabio!
