I have been only a southwest customer for years when I fly Im a senior and travel often to see family Don’t like all the new changes baggage fees, assigned seats, credits good for 6 months only. Etc… I liked the familiarity of knowing the policies and rules and price when I fly Hoping things go back to normal soon Thank you
  • $440 to select seats

In order for my family to sit together on the flight, tickets would have been an extra $440. Decided to take a chance and now we are spread across the plane all in middle seats. Good luck to the people who will be sitting next to my under 12yrs old children. Bad policy not to allow family to select ‘standard seating’ when purchasing the already eco tickets. I’m sure your other passengers will be happy about sitting next to the kids.

The changes implemented by SWA only benefit and serve the airline. SWA no longer puts the customer first. I have no reason to exclusively choose SWA for our travel needs. Why fix what isn’t broken? Too bad.

I don’t understand why my boarding status is worse than my wife’s who doesn’t buy a seat and gets a better seat and earlier boarding what’s the point buying a seat seriously thinking about another airline

You went from my default airline to a last resort to now, no more Southwest. I know you are working hard on your PR to justify the changes you have made. I humbly suggest you put as much work into your business model and service. My son was just shown as number 6 on a standby list for a flight showing 6 open seats. He needed to get back to school tomorrow so I paid the extra $25 for an assigned seat that took him off the standby list. It feels a lot like extortion.

App is still great. As a frequent purchaser of A1-15 in the old system, I do not think the value transfers to the new system. I get that you are talking about 15 seats on a plane that holds 150+ but stinks for us. Understand you gotta do what you gotta do. But passing along that I miss the old system for what that’s worth. Have had 5ish flight under the new. But reason I used SW exclusively was the value of the old system. Now I’m finding other airlines too since it’s the same.

C25 Gate agent at 4:10pm straight up lied about changing the fare. Too lazy to help me then stood around and do nothing for an hour. Las Vegas at 4:15 on April 5.
