    This is the most user unfriendly app I have ever used. It was so difficult and frustrating to work with. On top of that it’s not compatible with Xiaomi product and they will not give a refund. I recommend qustudio.

    You are never reachable by phone. My internet on computer is affected with a software upgrade and you are not available to be there for support, only from 9:00 to 5:00 EST meanwhile I’m helpless with blocked access to internet service. Very disappointing and frustrating with service!

    Covenant Eyes is a great resource for what it is: accountability for people who want to make good choices with their tech. This is not an impregnable fortress to stop one from making mistakes he or she wants to make. It’s a sort of digital speed bump, another person in the room to remind you of all the reasons you signed up for this app in the first place. I’ve used it since college (20 years) and it’s proven a consistent encouragement and talking point to help me ensure I use the internet well, make the choices I want to make online, and always know two people who care about me will see whatever I see. I now have three kids, and I apply this tech to my family with the same mindset: this is to encourage conversation, be a speed bump between them and the worst of internet choices, and provide chances to raise kids who become healthy adults. Basically this app helps us parent, not police, our children. If you use it with that in mind, you will love what you get.

    I love this app for the mission it provides but it’s dns resolution and application delay is hot garbage. I use my iPad for teams calls and I have to disconnect the vpn profile in order to use it

  • Great overall but kills battery

    I like the app overall but it kills my battery and makes my phone pretty warm. Just need that fixed and it’s perfect!

    I’ve used covenant eyes for the last 8 years, and I’m finally cancelling my plan to go to another system. I was hopeful when they adopted the VPN configuration, but it has been extremely lacking, and more importantly, it bricks your phone of service/wife ~3 times per day. Moreover the fact that this only functions with a safari extension and is incompatible with any other search engine makes it much less useful. Very grateful for the Covenant Eyes team and platform. They’ve developed a lot over the last 8 years, but still have a long way to go before being considered a strong software solution to accountability. I simply can’t keep paying for a service that only half works.

    This app fails regularly to accurately track my browsing now across several devices. The VPN does little besides interfere with WiFi signal. When I’ve needed it to hold me accountable, it has failed and sent clean reports to my sponsor. It will only track sites that identify themselves as explicitly pornographic. But there are a lot of sites it does not pick up on. It’s not a cheap subscription either.
