  • Pop Ups While Reading

I’m already a subscriber, I don’t need a pop up in the middle of reading an article telling me I can get a newsletter or any of the other stuff. It’s annoying as hell.
  • More ads than news

This app is really frustrating, especially since I pay for a subscription to the paper. I was hit with full-screen pop-up ads twice while reading a single article. The page is constantly broken up by ads taking up a huge chunk of the screen and it honestly feels like I’m paying just to see more ads. Makes it hard to even enjoy reading the news. Please stop abusing your subscribers and let us read the articles we pay to read.
  • Annoying Pop Ups

It’s incredible how a subscription I pay $20 a month for has annoying pop up ads that interrupt me while I read the news. WHY?! I don’t care about other things in the app, let me READ THE NEWS. You know, LIKE A NEWS PAPER! If I wanted a full screen advertisement while I’m looking at something, I’d be on YouTube.

Latest update resulted in popup ads that you can’t get rid of.

The digital version of Sudoku is much more difficult to use. The process of using the digital Sudoku is FULL of blocks trying to coerce us users into paying for unlimited use. Don’t like this.

App only opens about half the time. Sits there and spins endlessly. Have to close it and reopen it. Even then, sometimes works and sometimes does not. Have to repeat the process.

I waited years to stop my paper edition but have to say the content and ease of use of the electronic edition is great. And I don’t have to go out in frigid weather to get my copy!

The app works great except for the sign on ads. Every time I access the app I get the ad encouraging me to subscribe. My assumption is I’m no longer recognized as a subscriber. This is not true. The ad simply shotguns to anybody accessing the app. When accessing the app Please sort on line customers already subscribing to IndyStar from those you wish to recruit.
