    I really like that I don’t have to wear a device to use this app. The information it provides is great. The graphs and visuals demonstrate what happens during my sleep. Love that it records your nighttime noises. Just wish it could distinguish between my and my husband’s snoring. I have zero minutes of snoring when he is out of town. So now we can hear and understands how much he really does snore. The ai sleep summary is also super helpful. Really like this app!

    I've used Sleep Cycle for more than ten years. I pay approximately $40 a year for the upgrade in order to keep and have access to my data. It used to be a good, solid way to keep track of every night's sleep and be able to compare them over the years. But the vendors have caved in to the temptation to make everything really fancy without adding useful features. A few of the problems: It is not possible to see the graphs in the horizontal format, which renders impossible reading any information from over a long period (e.g., ten years). It is not possible to compare two years, or five. One cannot choose the measurements to view. What used to be a straightforward, very informative graph of a night's sleep is now an appallingly tricked up mess of alarming colors, viewable only in the short format, not in horizontal mode. And not transferable to a bigger screen, such as a desktop. I have been assured that it is not possible to go back to the old graph. This was a wonderful app until they had delusions of grandeur and went fancy, instead of making their product more flexible and therefore more useful.

    2,739 nights to be exact. I purchased it a long time ago and have been using it forever and recommended this app to all of my friends and family. The reason why I’m moving on is bc they keep removing all the features I had access to for years. Now I need to purchase the premium subscription to even see the most basics data. There’s something there that doesn’t sit right with me - the ‘ole bait n switch! Time to find another sleep tracker app.
  • Love it- but one issue.

    I must say, I truly love this app! It is well worth the money since it’s so interesting, and you don’t have to use any type of wearable tracking device (huge perk since I don’t want to wear a watch or ring to bed!) I am able to see my nights sleep laid out, which had been beneficial to my goal to improve my quality of sleep. My one and only issue is, no matter what, it will say it takes me an average of 1 hour to fall asleep. This is not true! I am a person how knocks out the second my head hits the pillow. This reading affects my sleep “score” because for example it will say I slept for a total of 6 hours and 31 minutes, and took me 1 hour and a half to fall asleep. So in reality, I slept for almost 8 hours, but it only logs 6 and a half. I don’t really know why it won’t register how fast I am falling asleep, and it’s frustrating to be told I slept over an hour less, which isn’t the case. Overall I love this app and will continue to use it nightly. It’s fun!

    Overall it’s great. But it’s missing a few key options. 1- I want to play white noise ALL night. This app allows max 90mins IN the app. And if I play it outside the app, the alarm noise doesn’t work in the morning, instead it just increased my white noise app sound to disturbing and confusing levels. (Wasn’t sure what was happening so I kept turning it down every ten minutes until I opened my phone a few times later!! 2- Edit sleep time? Or “Go back to sleep” button? I sometimes choose to sleep longer after the alarm. How do I “go back to sleep” or edit my sleep log after it’s been recorded. Now the data is inaccurate and says I only slept 4hrs and woke up at 6am. When the reality is, the alarm was going on and off through my white noise sound for 30 mins and I was so frustrated, when I eventually turned it off I went back to sleep for an hour and a half. But I can’t edit my sleep log?

    The app works great for tracking my sleep. I appreciate having a metric for it. What I don’t appreciate is having an AI feature that helps “discuss anything related to [my] sleep.” It’s stupid, frankly. I don’t like having AI everywhere, I don’t like its environmental impact, and I don’t like it in this app.
  • Has potential

    This app has so much potential but it seems that it isn’t functioning as intended. It is supposed to be using the microphone to detect snoring and coughing which it does but having the app run when you are wide awake watching tv it says I’m in deep sleep. Also features are continuing to be migrated to the purchased version. I’ve used this app, per the counter, over 700 times. Has an awesome alarm clock though.
