Not only does this app serves full page ads that you have to look at for a long time before closing, the ads themselves are for scam products, like one that pretended to be a message from Figaro and said “an app update is available,” with the link opening a totally unrelated PDF app on the App Store. The next time I opened the app, I got the same message that lead to some other scam app. Dev team, where’s your self-respect? Is this type of revenue stream really worth it?

I subscribed twice by mistake. I was told given I had done it I had to pay. I am somewhat surprised that type of attitude still exists today.

I subscribe but continue to get this huge popup as for something and it will not close. Can’t read les articles.

Do you like adds? They’ll fill your screen with ads that are EXTREMELY HARD TO CLOSE. Even when you subscribe to the publication, the app logs you out so you have to log back in. Good luck on that. THE ADS FILL THE SCREEN. CLOSE BUTTONS DON’T WORK. And then you can’t sign in. It’s all designed to shove ads down your throat. Awful, awful experience. Shame on you!

J’utilise le Figaro depuis maintenant plusieurs années. Malheureusement, récemment, de nombreuses pubs s’ouvrent à chaque article. Ces pubs sont des vidéos et le son se lance à fond. Il est très perturbant d’entendre une pub en plein milieu d’un article. Les images ne me dérange pas mais les vidéos qui se lance avec le son à fond sont vraiment un fléau. J’espère que vous règlerez ce problème rapidement car c’est tres ennuyant. J’en viens parfois à fermer l’application à cause de ça.
