Most recent update froze the entire app. Can’t type in the search bar or tap any of the icons or menu. It’s bricked

Easy to use and an excellent tool for an experienced nurse
  • Password Not Synced

As a clinician and corporate account holder, I found the Lexidrug app on my phone is extremely difficult to use, specifically because the application password is not synced with their website. Additionally, each time we renew the sub, it would prompt the users to re-download the app. Very disappointing.
  • My most frequently used clinical app

I have never had any issues with crashing, slow loading, etc. It loads pages immediately every time. I move around to different facilities all over my county, sometimes I’m on the 3rd floor, sometimes I’m in the basement. Works great for me everywhere. And in response to those saying they want a link to Lexicomp on the Home Screen—you don’t need it because the 2 databases use a shared search function. Just type the med name in the search box and the top link will be the Lexicomp page for that med. It really is faster this way.
  • Recent Changes Ruined it

Lexicomp tried to make it “easier” to use but actually did the opposite. I frequently work in pharmacies with limited cell service and now my app is frequently unavailable or too slow to use.
  • Not what it used to be

Quality has gone down hill. You used to be able to quickly open the app and find the answer but now it requires more of an internet connection. Now you might have to wait for updates to download (used to you could still use). Of course it has offline databases but if you have poor signal it won’t switch to offline databases it will struggle to search online and take forever. Such a poor execution of a professional database. This app used to be my #1 recommendation but now it makes no sense to have this plus the regular UpToDate app.
  • Crashes Constantly

Doing 2 week trial. downloaded all the content offline since I will be using it at the office. Crashes every time I open the app. Not usable. Glad I didn’t pay up front for the yearly subscription. Be sure to try the 2 week free trial to make sure it works for you. This was on an iPad Pro too.
  • Slow to load, unresponsive

Recent updates have made Lexidrug nigh unusable at times; it crashes frequently, takes a long time to load almost anything, a long time to open, and frequently becomes totally unresponsive. It’s an amazing clinical resource, but that’s no good if you can’t access it when you need it! F-.
