  • The Original Trip Planer Needs to Step Up the Game

    I have been using the app since the beginning. I loved it and am still depending on it. I made my travel easier. Not only I would know where I go next, but also I have used it to log the places I visited so I will also remember. However, years went by, TripIt needs to step up against all the new and even more innovative apps. Some simple things TripIt has not made any progress: when traveling in foreign countries, many addresses even many major cities are not listed. Also please add time zone, this has been a big issue for me as the automated time zone may not work. Each trip has one country only, that must change. Also it would be great to have sections (as simple as color) to indicate which city or county I will be in. There are many things can be added but I think the essential ones are necessary. I don’t mind to pay for the app.

    This app is as good as it gets. Our work requires us to travel constantly and TripIt has been my wife and my travel assistant for over 10 years and has not failed us. Truly the best travel app available. (period)

    It’s an app I had always wanted but did not realize existed. It works like magic, just forward all booking emails and everything is neatly organized on TripIt app. It sends timely reminders for checkin, gate location, baggage carousel etc. even before the airline app. I rarely turn on notifications for my apps and I did for TripIt. Another surprise, I have not seen ads.

    I love the features like airport map, alternate info in case I miss my flight, traveler safety details (neighborhood safety scores in destination for women & lgbtq), passport and visa reminders..and I love how I can manage both personal and work trips in one app! Highly recommend for anyone who travels.

    Love this app (Pro)! Keeps my flight, car and hotel all in one place; including confirmation numbers and status perk information all in one place. Especially handy to have the confirmation numbers as my surname is two words with no hyphen. Some auto booking systems can’t read the space instead of a hyphen, so confirmation numbers work better for me. Love this service

    Since the update adding (useless) AI models, the app has slowed to a crawl. On my iPhone 16 pro it now takes multiple taps and some waiting to open an itinerary from the home screen, I see a loading interstitial on some screens that has never existed before... please revert this horrible change!

    It’s a great app however they have glitches and my pro subscription won’t sync with some of my reward programs. I contacted support and they are of no help. You can only email them. It takes days for a reply. Very disappointed. I’ll be switching to another app if they don’t fix the problem.

  • It keeps track of your basic trip information — and works

    This is generally a very reliable app and quite helpful for keeping track of basic trip information. Downsides: in-app navigation is reliable but not particularly swift. And the aesthetics are like from an early-90s corporate system, like it was designed by the SABRE people. But I bet it will run on Windows 3.1.

    I love it! I don’t have to think about my reservation Information. it keeps my flight, hotel, and car reservation information all bundled together in trips so they’re easy to look up
