I’ve been using this app for over 10 years for a dozen trips & find it extremely helpful. If I traveled more I would definitely pay for the pro version. I enter events for each day & never miss anything. The only problem that I am having is some of the address links in the last three versions do not work with Apple Maps. This is definitely something new because some of the links in old trips that used to work, no longer do. This makes places difficult to find quickly. I notified tech support. It doesn’t seem like that difficult a fix so wonder why it has persisted for 3 upgrades. PS: to people having trouble with time zones, you must enter at least a city & country in address for your event or TripIt may use your current time zone.
  • Easily imports booking confirmations

I love how easy it is to import booking confirmations, just forward the booking email and it adds it to your itinerary. The only downside I see is that it doesn’t always put the events in the right order if they’re booked with different time zones. I also wish it had a map feature.
  • A must for everyone

It has made my life so easy. As simple as forwarding an email and your trip is created. Pretty amazing.
  • Great for letting your spouse know your plans

Positives. Immediate alerts to your spouse for planned travel. Auto feeds your trips into family calendar. For these two reasons I pay. Saves a lot of friction with ‘oh I didn’t realize you were out of town’ Negatives Many features simply don’t work. Ie the points tracker, old seat tracker (I think this was removed?) For $80 a year it should be perfect. Doesn’t always sync when times change. No substantive updates in last 7 years.

I’ve had this app (Pro version) for years and really like it. In many cases it shows a gate change before the airport board does. In addition there’s helpful info like maps of airports, safety information, etc. i also like that I can create a trip far in advance and add things like flights to it as they are booked. I can add my own documents. I can’t compare it to any other app bc I’ve never used another one. I started w Tripit at least a decade ago and have never had reason to search further. Well worth the price of the Pro version.

Nothing compares this one when in comes to keeping all your travel in every details. I can still see my travel history as far as 15 years back, including such details as ticket numbers, hotel fees, etc.
  • Total Garbage; no need to pay for Pro

After syncing to my email, it found trips from 15 years ago I had to manually delete one by one to not view them but it fails to find my Marriott hotel stay in my email that I made 15 min ago, why pay for Pro when the standard version doesn’t work as advertised
  • Absolutely the best app for travel

Best app for traveling and itinerary
  • Much info needs to be entered by hand

It’s very convenient when it works, but 1 out of every 3 or 4 things I send it are filed as unclassified, including detailed confirmations from booking.com, so I have to enter them by hand. Pretty good with airlines.
