  • Stop Making Forced Clicks

NYT Game has on multiple multiple multiple /multiple/ occasions added new games or features that they sneak the button to play or start them into the locations people would typically click. When you go to play the more popular games or to begin playing the currently selected one an ad will pop up and the “play” button will be right where you were about to click. It has to stop. If you want to advertise your new games or anything along that line, please make it a small ad that you don’t have to click out of and especially not in line with where I would be clicking anyways. This is infuriating

This app is very slow and they’re just starting to charge for you to play anything.

I haven’t been able to use the app due to pop ups since the latest update. Easier to delete the app and use the website…

Disgusting, taking away free mini word cross, pure greed at its finest, having to pay for everything practically for some stupid little games, disgusting. Do better
  • Dark Mode Still Not Right

Dark mode still isn’t right. Come on, guys. Don’t advertise dark mode until you have one singular setting for the whole app—including the games!—that respects the system dark mode. It’s been years now, get it right.

Simple games that change daily. The games are fine but not worth paying for. And the limited game options available without paying are not worth the ads you see during games either. It use to have no ads and now it’s a waste of time. Shame on the NYT because they are clearly making a ridiculous amount of money on this app alone and they don’t need it. Don’t get this app, spend your money elsewhere.
