  • Latest updates need improvement

I want to be able to see the weekly over or under for calorie usage for the week. Please bring that back. Being able to see how I’m doing for the week helps me stay on track. I really don’t need to see my macros for the day at the top of the daily log. You can see that in other areas of Lose It. Please change it back.

You guys probably did it on accident, so you should reverse it. On a serious note, I think it’s crazy that everything is becoming a subscription. You people keep draining every last cent from everyone. You’re greedy.
  • Changed my life

I was overweight, postpartum and diagnosed pre-diabetic after my second child. I didn’t know what I was doing but I did have a fit bit, food scale, this app, and a desire to be healthy for my family. Fast forward 9 months, I lost 30 pounds, learned to enjoy vegetables, increased my exercise activity, more time outside, and I’m no longer in the prediabetic range. I stuck to my prediabetic diet strictly, allowing for occasional days where I ate more or indulged, always getting back on the saddle the next day. This truly changed my life and empowered me that I could do more hard things and succeed. We quickly became pregnant, I had none of the low progesterone issues I had before. Thanks to this app, we have a precious gift on the way. I’m not really using it much now since my goal is just to get something to eat in my first trimester, but I will definitely be back when I’m hungry again in my second trimester to help maintain calories and keep track of veggies. Thank you , this is the best money I have ever spent.
  • New header is a serious downgrade

I’m a lifetime member and have been for years. This new update has me looking at alternatives already and it’s only been a few days. They have updated the log so it has almost no useful information on it, and everything else you have to fumble around in the dashboard to find now. What was once an accessible, intuitive app has become cumbersome and unhelpful. I don’t even want to track things now because it’s such a PITA to see the data. They’ve also put a new header that it takes up 50% of the screen, yet it only shows four things (calories, protein, fat, carbs). Before I could see as many macros as I wanted, weekly data, etc. I struggle to see how they possibly came to the decision that this would benefit customers. Switching between days now also constantly opens up other apps because they’ve placed the arrows so close to the Dynamic Island. Just super frustrating to use now overall. I just recommended this app to someone who started using it last week and now I’m embarrassed to have suggested something so useless. If there isn’t a correction to this, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The old version was perfect and adaptable. The new update display is hard to grasp at a glance. Please let us revert back to the old version and I’ll happily update the review to five stars!

I am now down 65.8 pounds by being diligent in tracking on the Lose It app. I feel in control of my life even though it’s taken me 18 months to get here. Tracking with goals is a simple first step to figure out how your body handles calories, carbs, protein and fiber.

I loved this app so much. But with this recent update I am looking for a new app that meets my needs
  • Can’t track more than 3 nutrients on latest update.

New update has ruined the app for me. I used to look at sodium, sugar, fiber, carbs, and protein. Now the display is limited to three of these with no way to see daily progress on the others. Why did you do this? I just cancelled my annual renewal of the subscription. 30 bucks down the drain. Going to have to find a different app that lets me easily track more than 3 things like Lose It used to.

The new update only shows your top 3 macros on the log page. Before it was a simple click to see all your macros , the amount for each food item & how close you were to your limit. This new update is not feasible. Please change it back . Before this , the app was perfect !
  • Great App, BUT....

I have used this app for close to a year now and have bought the lifetime premium and it has worked amazing. The insights and all the statistics it provides are great. But the major caveat is that it does not give you all of these statistics for every nutrient. I am big on tracking caffeine and things like potassium, zinc, etc. but there is no option to check it even for just that day as a whole. This app is already great but adding a daily tracker for all of these nutrients, and even potentially a long term tracker would take it to the next level. I have always wanted this feature so please hear me out on this one.🙏
