    I signed up to use PayPal debit card for 5% but I have to keep $300 cash in the PayPal debit card. In order to earn 5%, To earn 5%back, I have to pick the category every month by my self, which is time consuming and I don’t see any benefit. I want to cancel the debit account and take my $300 back. But PayPal wouldn’t give $300 back to me. I had to filed complaint to California DOJ but the they were not doing anything. The CA DOJ went quietly and ignored the complaint. Don’t know what to do with my money $300 sitting in PayPal. I think anybody can earn 5% to put money into CD and don’t need to deposit it into PayPal account. Tried to contact the life person and they using AI to answer the question. No life agent helped. No customer services. Offer help by machine only.

    You should avoid using this App and entirely PayPal. After Honey browser extension they scamming people on money right here - in this app. I purchased some crypto and they are finding the reasons do not let me get my crypto out. I tried several times to move my crypto to a called wallet and the app always says - call customer service. When you call them they will accuse you using VPN or something else. O called like 8-10 times and everytime they arr saying that there a reason for holding your money ... maybe you are in another country (for example Argentina, which is on the list of the countries that PayPay works with) or something else. Does not matter what is this, they will hold your money and will do everything possible do not release them to you. Avoid!

    This app has multiple bugs, including hangs/freezing up when doing some actions, including on loading pages when attempting to look at payment method, which are critical for the use of the service.

    Had a issue with not receiving product. They claim no evidence when I have evidence for days of the issue and dispute. Useless, soulless, AI run company in 2024 2025. Never using PayPal again

    I thought PayPal would protect the buying process. To my surprise, this is the first time I’ve ever had to return an item and escalate the process through PayPal. PayPal close the case in favor of the seller. Little backstory on how all this took place. Purchased an item on a website. Once I realized the information on the website was untrue. I tried canceling the order. Unfortunately, the seller said the merchandise was shipping from another country and that shipping could not be stopped. Seller advised do not send back item from where it was being shipped from. Once item was received immediately requested prepaid return shipping label seller has refused. This is where I filed a dispute with PayPal and to my surprise. PayPal has sided with the seller.

    I used to really like this app. It was reliable and easy to use, and I liked its dispute resolution. It's now almost impossible to use. There's so much garbage on the screen -- ads for products, pushes for credit cards and other services-- that it's annoying and difficult to use. Simple things like updating credit cards and addresses shouldn't involve going through endless menus. I'll be looking for another app to handle online payments.
