  • Adding ad’s was bad enough, but pushing it by removing prices for medications

It’s becoming painfully clear the developers are moving in the wrong direction with this app and are content with ditching long term professional users over subscriptions. It’s always sad to watch something go from good to bloated due to over confidence and profits. Suppose ignorance is bliss these days.

I use this app all the time in patient care, to confirm dosages, to discuss side effects with patients, to use pill pictures to determine what medication they are taking or if a tab is scored, the interaction checker is also extremely helpful. I also use frequently the estimated cost tab, but it is no longer there! This is invaluable when looking for affordable medications for the uninsured or underinsured. Please bring that option back!!
  • Won’t let me sign up

Was recommended this app by my teacher as I’m studying to be a pharmacy technician. I go to sign up and it ask me to pick a specialty, when I click on it all there are no options to click on or search up. Very disappointing as I was hoping this would help me learning my drugs for my exam.
  • Very useful but losing functionality

I’ve been an Epocrates subscriber for years. And generally happy with it. But suddenly without warning, they reduced its functionality by dropping all drug prices. I often used that info to warn patients what they *may* be paying for the drug. This is VERY disappointing.
  • Pop-up ads in paid version

I’ve paid for epocrates for many years. Now they have pop-up ads even when you’ve paid. RUDE. SHAME.
  • Need drug package sizing

I have been using Epocrates faithfully for years however in the new update the package sizing has been erased for creams, solutions, etc. Also approximate costs of the varying sizes has been erased. Please fix this and bring back sizing

I was very happy with this app, great concise answers for practical use and you don’t want to deep dive. I tolerated the pharma pop ups (though not sure why I have interrupting ads when I pay a subscription..) But just today I was looking and it appears drug prices have now been removed! This is shocking to me, this is valuable and real information that helps us consider our patients. I’m very disappointed with this move as it is not in the best interest of patients or clinicians. I am reconsidering my subscription

  • Hate the ads

Hate the ad that I have to dismiss everytime I open epocrates. Today it froze and would not let me dismiss it bi had to uninstall and reinstall app to make it work again. I PAY for this subscription myself and a delay in referencing info I need is very frustrating.
