Reviews

  • Lots of potential, better than GoPaddling in many ways

This app is nice in that you can set waypoints and create a paddle route, it also gives you the distance/length of the trip. The app is lacking a lot of things GoPaddling has, but GoPaddling unfortunately seems to have been abandoned by its developers for years. This app has some BIG features missing from GoPaddling, but what it really needs is more users and user input (reviews, current conditions, user updated launch sites, obstacles etc)

There are way too many interruptions. It’s missing main put-ins and take-outs. Also missing named rapids.
  • Let’s be honest

The app crashes frequently and requires a paid subscription just to access basic 3D functionality. Instead of wasting money, simply search “boat ramps” on Google Maps—it’s free and far more reliable. Charging users for something as fundamental as street view is absurd when Google Maps provides it at no cost. Additionally, the Go Paddle app is free, stable, and user-friendly. Between Google Maps and Go Paddle, I’ll gladly keep my money…
  • Minimal content. Very little area covered.

Shows nothing much in eastern Mass - where there is a lot - and some of the few things shown are wrong. Without some serious crowdsourcing this app will not be useful to most people for another 50 years.
