    Used this app a few times and it’s really solid! Only question is that the slider for psi, doesn’t actually match up with the starting pressure. When I set the slider to say “3000psi”, it shows up on top as 3400 ish. Really my only gripe, as I’m not sure why it’s like that.

    This app is great when it works as expected, but I’ve had several issues getting it to work properly when I need it to. The first time I tried to use it for a test run while snorkeling, it was stuck on the “fit and ready to dive” screen. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling but then it seemed to not add back to my watch until I was on WiFi so I was unable to use it that day. The second issue I had was getting the app to switch back to scuba. I switched it on my phone before my first dive and then noticed when I was in the water the snorkeling feature had launched, so I finished the dive without using the scuba feature. Back on the boat I looked at the app again and it was updated to scuba on the phone but was stuck on snorkeling on the watch with the scuba option greyed out as if I didn’t have a subscription. I had to once again uninstall and reinstall the app, then wait to get back on WiFi before I could get the app to load back onto the watch. After those two instances it worked great, but it doesn’t instill confidence to have multiple issues with the basic functionality and I don’t know if I’d be comfortable relying on the app if I was doing anything close to deco and also not with some who had a “real” dive computer.

    I have dived using the app on my Apple Watch Ultra daily for a week, and it works as advertised. No problems. V clear and easy to reach info, and v precise. I love the map and gps function. Only slight problem is a limited range of dive type and equipment needs to be more generic. I would highly recommend it for rec diving.

    Always been a big paper user for logging dives. Happy to move into the 21st century. Sometimes it’s hard to log stuff in the book in dives with all pre-dive movement. This makes it much easier.

    8 dives so far using the Oceanic app on my Apple iWatch Ultra. Works really, really well. The watch app gives you all kinds of visual and vibration prompts underwater, with many settings. Very easy to read underwater. Love the fact that it also automatically logs all the dive data to the companion app on my iphone. So far I am super happy with this app. Not currently planning to buy a standalone dive watch given how well this works! (Works well for snorkeling too)

    This app is great and I have not had any problems with it or the Apple Watch Ultra. It loggs every dive and the information is the same as my SCUBAPRO Galileo 3 and Luna AI. I would recommend this app for recreational dive use.

    Review of the Oceanic+ App: I recently downloaded the Oceanic+ app in hopes of exploring the underwater world and enhancing my diving experience. However, I encountered some significant issues that hindered my ability to fully enjoy the app. Firstly, upon launching the app, I faced difficulty getting past the age confirmation and acceptance of terms and conditions. It seemed to be an endless loop, preventing me from proceeding further. This initial hurdle was frustrating and prevented me from fully utilizing the app's features. Additionally, when attempting to dive virtually using the app, I encountered frequent freezing issues. This was disappointing as I had hoped to immerse myself in the virtual underwater environment. The freezing problems interrupted the experience and made it difficult to enjoy the app to its fullest potential. Overall, I found the Oceanic+ app to be disappointing due to its issues with age confirmation, terms and conditions, and freezing during dives. These technical problems greatly impacted my ability to engage with the app and explore its features. I hope that the developers can address these issues in future updates, as the concept of the app holds great potential for diving enthusiasts like myself.

    I dive about 2-5x a year and this app allows me the flexibility to save my dives in a virtual logbook, it’s extremely detailed. Easy to use and easy to pick up after it’s been several months.

    Would be nice to import from other dive computers but overall straightforward. Best part is the AI improvements to pics. They look so realistic.
