    This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed an app, I just had to. I am a home cook who has found copy less great recipes online but hate the struggle of websites that constantly reload the page or are filled with endless clutter. This removes all the junk and does exactly what it says it does, delivers just the recipe. Bravo.

    I really love the idea of this app. When it works it’s amazing, however several times I past a website and it cannot find the recipe. So I need to use another app I have and find myself using that one more and more because of this issue. But I do love how I can make categories or groups of recipes and name them desserts, apps, etc.

    This app is amazing! I found this app about a year after TikTok got big. I wanted a way to save my recipes that I would come across either in a tiktok, Pinterest, Facebook, vlog etc. because I knew one day I’ll probably make it! Hahaha and i didn’t want to have to go looking in multiple different apps I wanted to use one app for all my recipes and honestly a cook book a hate because it’s in the way it gets dirty and then I’m annoyed because my pages are covered in cake batter and egg whites. I have been paying for this app for a few years now so I can save unlimited recipes and $14.00 a year is Litterly a steal! Fractures i love are that You are able to just copy the link that you found your recipe at and post it, it’s will add it for you. If the recipe is made for 2 but you need to make it for 6 people you can easily change the ratio or vise versa! It’s so convenient I love that you can add categories so creating a folder for soups, pastry, breakfast, dinner etc. I normally say don’t trust the 5 stars they are probably paid ads but trust me I’m a real human spending my hard earned money on this app and I love it! I suggest it to everyone and keep purchasing it every year!

    18 January 2025: I purchased a subscription to this app more than a year ago and despite its ease of use, IT STILL DOES NOT STAY IN SYNC BETWEEN DEVICES. I have written multiple times; however, the developer does not reply or respond to suggestions. Honestly, the fact that the app does not sync in this day and age is just really stupid. It is extremely aggravating. Additionally there isn’t any provision to import or export files so that you can manually keep devices in sync. When I try to convert measurements to another standard (Metric <—> Imperial), the app asks me to subscribe to enable the features including unit conversion. I ALREADY HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION !!! Set a program flag to avoid nagging a user to subscribe when they already are subscribed. The app always assumes the quantity of the recipe is in servings. Hello … wake up developer. Recipes for sauces, salsas, and other condiments are not measured in servings they are measured by volumes. If entering a recipe manually because the app cannot find a recipe on a webpage, you have to cut & paste ingredient by ingredient, direction by direction which is OK; however, each and every item you paste pops up the nagging question of whether you want to allow or not allow the paste which gets pretty old really fast. Snagging recipes off the internet is a hit or miss proposition. Way too many sites pasted in come back stating ‘recipe cannot be found’ even though in plain sight. Nice idea; but, half-baked at best and tjis was the primary reason for getting this app and subscribing. Suggested update features never seem to come into being with voting system and developers never reply back to issues, bugs, or suggestions. Now I lay the bread to rest; Just the Recipe passed not tests. So I part the usage and delete this app and turn to one that is better conceived, engineered, programmed, and UATed for proper UC and UE. ‘Just the Recipe’ seems smooth on the durface; but, it is fraught with issues and the lack of proper Use Cases in development. My advice: LOOK FOR SOMETHING ELSE.

    I love this app and it works so well! Unfortunately, the main cook of the household is not an iOS user. I’d love to see other platforms supported because this is probably the best app I have on my phone (and iPad) in terms of making my life easier and less cluttered.

    If this app was a one time purchase, I would do it for 4.99 but at $24/y that’s a no. They’ve since updated their pricing to be more reasonable. Since then this app has become my entire cook book and I use it daily! It’s been a while since the last update. When are you implementing new features that I’m paying for?
