    Ok after all my frustrations and canceling my account I decided I love this app so much that I would start fresh. So I opened the APP and it asked me to link. I said no because I knew that seeing just those 20 recipes would frustrate me to no end. But I did pay for a year of premium again. It’s so reasonable and worth it. Then all of a sudden all of my recipes that had been lost began to repopulate !!!!!! 🤣🙃😂💯😁😊🥲🥲🥲 Thank you Just the Recipe! Despite a couple of days of stress, you guys are the best!

    I never write reviews (ever), but I love this app so much and have to share it somewhere. It has made cooking and grocery shopping for myself SO much easier. I can gather and read through recipes without being bombarded by ads or endless blogs. I can save my favorite recipes from the various chefs I like all in one place. And I can import and track what ingredients I need to buy through the grocery list feature, which is excellent. It is intuitive while also being highly customizable. To the developers of this app, thank you, thank you, thank you.

    I was trying to find an app that I could use to convert all the recipes I want to attempt into metric measurements. Most importantly, I needed to stop recipe websites from refreshing the page I’m reading and spit back out at the top of the page. I don’t know if there’s an easier method of getting this accomplished but Just the Recipe works wonderfully! It breaks down every recipe into measurements I can use for exact measurements. And it takes out all the brain meltingingly boring and useless stories to every freaking recipe!!!! I DID NOT NEED A 20 min saga about how you came to love this biscuit recipe because grandma Betty made them on her honeymoon in 1943, Karen!!!! Just give me THE GOODS!! (Aka THE RECIPE) THANK YOU JUST THE RECIPE!!!!

    Give us an option for like $2-$5 to save unlimited recipes and I’d pay for it. I don’t need any other feature from the “premium”. I’ll continue to save my recipes in a browser bookmark folder to avoid paying a subscription - we have way too many of those in our lives now.

    The past five recipes I have tried to put in the app were “formatted incorrectly” which is wild. These sites are ones I have used before and gotten recipes from before. They didn’t suddenly change to a new formatting type. But no, no matter what sort of link I put in, the app won’t accept it. So then I’ll try to enter it manually. Except the app closes and resets every time I navigate away from it. Like when I go to the web page to see what next ingredient I need to individually copy/paste, because I can’t copy/paste the entire list. So I have to save the recipe after every edit, then open it again to add the next part, so adding a long recipe can take upwards of 20+ minutes, to the point that just scrolling through the recipe would be faster by far. To top it off, you can’t highlight more than a single word at a time, so that even if you copy/pasted everything, it’s an exercise in frustration to try and move them around. There’s no way to create headings and such in the recipes, like recipes that are imported have. So you can’t differentiate between say, a marinade and the rest of the ingredients.

    This app is amazing. I always hate all the pop-up ads you get from trying to find a recipe online. This helps just keep it nice and simple without all the fuss.

    I’ve been using this for over a year and love it! When manually adding a recipe I would like to be able to paste it into one box rather than add each ingredient and step individually. It would be even better if we could upload screenshots of recipes!
