  • Never stopping “update” problems

    I didn’t think I had to come to the point of writing a bad review, I never did before and if I’m tired of an App, I just delete it and move on. However, this one really deserves it just to keep people aware of how the App is. I’ve been using this App for about 3 years already. But I have to add that for those 3 years, I was able to use it for about 1 year with “good condition” and I’ll explain why. This App was owned by a different developer back then and it got to the point (which I have to make you aware that I bough the Permanent $80 price that they had so I could use it “for life” without paying extra monthly) , where I just couldn’t use the App because the developer couldn’t recognize that I bought a Lifetime subscription. I stopped using it for about a year until a month ago. I noticed that it switched to a different developer and saw a big change on the UI of the App so I was wondering if the new change of developer was going to solve all the issues. At first I got my subscription back with “Restore Purchases” option, which was great. And the only issue I noticed was that using my Bulbs (which are Feid Electric) the change of color on them was working, but trying to going back to its original “white and bright” color, even though there’s the option of “white colors”, the colored lights wouldn’t go away, it stayed as “colored light”. For me to bring them back to its original white color, I had to “reset them” which involves flicking the switch 3 times and let them stop blinking so I could use them that way. However, with the resent update, it just disconnected all my light and they won’t even “recognize” that I’m trying to connect them again, even though I sent an Email back in September 09 without any response for the “Colored Lights” issue. But now, having another problem on top of that, it just made me write this review. Hopefully the developer reads this review and becomes aware of the situation. I’m loving the app but with the amount of issues I’ve been having with it, is just enough.

    Your app says it is $4.16 a month for a yearly unlimited subscription I was not aware cause no where does it say it was going to take out the hole $50 amount at once It was not even the right app for what my daughter needed it for so once I seen my account get hit for the full $50 I went and cancelled the subscription it was not even 5 minutes from the time she downloaded the app till I got the notification of my account and the amount they took out not cool I feel like you lie and scam people by putting those prices on your app and when the people like my daughter who thought it was $4.16 a month so now she thinks her dad is mad at her cause I upset with you and your app I would like my money refunded as soon as possible I sent you multiple emails in regards to this

    Bought an expensive set of lights that I thought would be cool for the patio. Can’t even change the colors with the app because they want you to download a subscription every year for 179.00. ☹️

    Do not download. Just wanted to link 2 LED lights of different beans to the same on and off button / color and this ap won’t even allow adding 1 light without committing to a monthly or annual fee. Not worth your time. Cash grab.

    Got two light bulbs, tried to pair them through the app. They made me download two more apps and pay a ridiculous subscription fee only for the devices to still not pair or work properly.
