It is OK but not worth the $4 a month. I thought I purchased it a while back but it wouldn’t restore. So they may have changed the pricing model.

I have nothing to say about the software itself. It is not free with in-app purchases. As soon as you open it the first time, a giant pop up appears (as others have stated) prompting you to pay $3.99/week. Not only is it intrusive - you cannot close it, you cannot move it. It overrides every other piece of software you have, so you can’t even leave it in the background to do other things. Do not download this app.
  • Not what I needed

Somehow, I perhaps right clicked something while editing bookmarks in Safari, and that entire folder disappeared. Such a PITA to try to fix this. I could not find where it went. It found awhile to find the backup bookmarks. I can remember being able to, in Firefox, open the old bookmarks as a file and merely editing. Not so with bookmarks.plist (Safari bookmarks). It comes up in a CSS format, no matter which app I’ve tried. HTML editor is the latest. Well named for what it does, it’s not what I needed.

popup for “pro mode” subscription obstructs EVERYTHING including other apps without an X button to close which makes it literally impossible to use

What is the use of an html editor that can’t open htm files? Maybe it is behind the $16 a month paywall.

But now it’s paid, a poppup now appears when it’s opened so it’s paid It used to be free, simple, easy, no trackers or anything Good luck finding alternatives, folks!
  • Launchscreen Nonsense

I have no problem if an app wants to me to pay upfront to use it. But don’t pretend to be free (or freemium) and then on launch have popup that cannot be closed that basically says you have to pay to use the app.
  • Not let you even try it with subscription

Im looking for a Mac html editor, dowloaded the program, but forces you with popup to either subscribe or close the app. Would have been nice to try it out. Even though it says you can download, you can’t use it without subscription
