Stir: Single Parent Dating App

I am not going to be paying $20 a week to use this app just to see who likes me. This app is meant for single parents. Plus I’m pretty sure there are bots on it to boost the numbers of likes and whatnot. Because I’m not sure how I got 200 likes over night. I have downloaded this app a few different times, and I always have the same model worthy guys sending me likes. I’m assuming it’s to peak your interest to make you pay their ridiculous fees.

I have my location settings set for 40 miles. I continuously get matches that are 6-7 hours away in another country. It is frustrating. The app is easy to use but this location thing has to get fixed.

I paid for a subscription on Stir, but the service never activated. Despite attempts to contact their support center, I never received a reply. No help, no response, and no access to what I paid for. Completely unacceptable. I basically paid for nothing — just a waste of money. Would not recommend.

Its ok but to many updates and fake notifications.

So if you are an ethnic woman with a natural curvy shape, and you can’t help how you look in your clothes, they will not allow you to upload pictures like that and I find that to be very discriminatory. I cannot help the way I look in my clothes. I cannot help the way I’m shaped as a 40-year-old woman. It’s a single parent dating app why can I not upload pictures dressed as a 40-year-old woman no private parts are showing Nothing provocative nothing see-through? It’s pending for hours and then they send you an email that you’re violating the app policy and procedures. It’s ridiculous. What am I supposed to look like a 10-year-old little girl? I’m a grown woman seeking the companionship of a grown man. This app is ridiculous. It’s not worth the money. It’s not worth your time. It deletes messages for no reason. If you add a period to your bio it takes an hour to approve just ridiculous. It is an inconvenient overly micromanaged app. There are better apps find another one this one isn’t it.

I payed the $40 for 3 months, and I get to read my messages but whenever I get a notification that I have a new message; I go to see it and it doesn’t show up. My message box is always empty and the messages I start end up disappearing. How are we supposed to make connections if we can’t see our messages. And the customer service is non existent. I’m very frustrated with it and I wish I could get my money back. Feels like a scam.

You have to pay to even be close to finding matches. It’s kind of annoying tbh.

If I could, I would give it 0 stars (in Kansas City). Overall the features are comparable to match or hinge, but in this particular part of the country there are approximately 100 females (at most) and 3,000 plus males. Of those 100 or so females, they’re the same people you see on the other MG platforms (match, hinge etc… who’ve been on above mentioned platforms for an extended period of time). Don’t waste your time or money. Go to tinder and actually meet up with someone. Hot trash platform. Best of luck to ya’ll!

I registered hoping to at least find a potential boyfriend but instead found scammers and men that only looking for s**.!why go on online dating for that?! Go to the bar! I am so upset that I had to delete my account but didn’t get refund back. Maybe it’s a good app for someone but I didn’t get a good experience, it’s not for serious people.
