Filters do not even work, you can set it to 20 miles and still get people hours and even states away constantly while it rarely sprinkles a more local in between instead of just showing you local first and then distant. Everything is around paywall too.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I created a profile, logged in one time and was blocked. It first appeared as if I’d tried logging in incorrectly too many times, so I filled out their appeals form. I received an email that I had not completed it correctly and a link to the same form. I responded by just asking to close my profile because of the hassle and received a very snarky email back. If this is what online dating is like, being single is better!

I just signed up for this app to check it out. Went through the work of creating a profile and it starts to show me potential matches. I get a like on my profile, but I can’t see it unless I pay for it. I will go back to other apps that you can do more in the free versions.

I used this app for approximately 2 weeks and I think I only talked to one legitimate person that presented who they actually were. All other accounts I talked to were cat-fishers. They wrote in broken English and they mostly wanted to know what my occupation was (for money). I literally told one guy my husband passed away and his response was “great! I’m looking for the love of my life.” …..this app needs to do a better job of filtering/screening people. I decided to tell one of them I inherited a large sum of money and I didn’t need to work ever again to see how he would react and got a huge long romantic text back about how he’s looking for the one and maybe that person is me. I told another one I was a teacher and barely made rent and he blocked me. If ya’ll haven’t seen those documentaries like the tinder swindler- do yourself a favor and watch. Stir/Match. Ya’ll need to get it together. You took my money and there’s no way to contact you with this complaint. It’s a bad product if you’re allowing fake profiles flood your app.

Was in the middle of setting up my profile, had swiped on maybe 2 people and was kicked out of my account. When I reached out to customer service they told me my account was banned and I had to appeal. When I put in the appeal, they gave me the same info and said it was still banned and would not give me any other information. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely do not recommend.

Barely ever used the app then they banned me from this app stating “content detected using automated tools” then subsequently banned me from hinge and tinder since they’re owned by the same company. Because this was vague I asked for more information and they didn’t give it. I wasn’t using any automated tools so I appealed my case and was denied. Poor customer service and lack of care.

I Love Stir Dating App so much I wish to find my soulmate here and I’m pleading STIR not to restrict my account.

Why does it ask for a radius as to how far you’d like any potential matches and then only shows You matches hundreds of miles away and then when you put that it’s a deal breaker it sows you mine but yet you have several in your highlits that you are only able to contact if you purchase added super likes I pay for a premium membership and this is absolutely ridicules and when you try to contact them to explain your frustration there is no way to do so

I have my distance set to 50 miles and it only shows me people hundreds of miles away. That’s not how dating works
