Stir - Single Parent Dating

I don’t like that the matches are people over 150 miles away. The favorite matches that are found by your algorithm you can’t match with them unless you pay for more favorites. And there are a lot of glitches on this app. There were times when I messages were not being sent or received. I just feel like there are too many problems with this dating app. I would never advise someone to use it based on all these issues.

I don’t even know why I still have this app 0 dates in like a year here

The location feature is just trash.. no matter what you set it will show you people hundreds of miles away instead of any of the people who like you for the match to happen Here’s my scenario.. I have 45 likes.. not one has showed up in my feed to match with. It would rather show me people from 100+ miles away than give me the chance to match with someone.

Stir seemed like a great app, for the short time I was on it but I had a problem with my profile and customer service has been no help. I’m not sure if they have AI bots for customer service or if they have people that have to follow scripts but my question was essentially ignored.

It could very well be a reflection of my area. While the selection is extensive, it predominantly consists of individuals with a similar profile—like having the same shirt in different colors. The steep fee to view matches or communicate with them feels like a money grab. As parents, our lives revolve around our children, which is reflected in our profiles. We appreciate connecting on parent-related topics, but this focus leaves little room for sharing more about ourselves, our interests, and what else makes us unique. Our lives are centered around our children, but they are not the only thing that defines us. After all before we were parents we were individuals, every moment decided and dedicated to our womb fruit, it would nice to decide not only off how we raise our children but who we are besides parents. They’re feeding into the “we’re only just parents” which yes is a major component and base for our life’s our reasons to breathe, work and push through, selfless act but we aren’t just parents we are people

The ugliest women I’ve seen on any of the apps, bar none. Not even close in comparison. In theory this app is a great idea. In reality it’s some of the absolute slimmest of pickings of all the dating apps.

Great concept, but would be better if users had more options for preferences.

I do not appreciate how expensive the prices are for this app. I also did not get to enjoy my free time I was given because the app wasn’t working properly. Can I be given more time to get to know this app please

Seems like they don’t really add people within your distance. I added my preferences to distance and all I see is people that are too far. I will try it for the time being but not really liking it thus far.
