  • Lots to see - And this helps you find it

This app will show you where and when to find most anything astronomical in the sky. With numerous controls and settings, you can configure your screen to help you meet your observing goals. It take a little figuring with the settings to get it setup , but it’s worth the effort. I’ve used it on my iPad and phone. And used it to help aim my telescope. The extensive object (planet, star system, globular cluster, nebula, galaxy, etc.) information is educational.
  • No Mac update and no 8 Plus

Version 8 is now Pro only for iOS for $50 (not Mac of course), so I guess they aren't interested in casual users by not offering a Plus version. I won't be upgrading. I own many previous versions, including the abandoned Mac version 6. Too bad they don't care about these other markets.
  • Nice app, but too much spam

The app itself is great and I prefer it over Stellarium. I think it’s cleaner, more intuitive to use and I like the menu bar at the bottom, especially the ‘Tonight’ tab. I deducted two stars due to all the annoying upgrade spam the developers throw at you. In-app notifications, banners, random notifications and emails. Even with the paid Plus version it’s constant bombardment of upgrade spam. For this reason I will probably not renew my subscription.
  • Plus Version Crashes on iPad

I bought the plus version a couple of years back. Since a recent update, the “Tonight” option in the bottom tray menu now crashes the program. It works okay on my iPhone but no longer works on my iPad. The free version Tonight option still works. This needs to be fixed. 😃

Used to be great for seeing what was in the sky during a particular night, but now the app crashes without fail every single time I try to use that feature… that’s the only thing I used in this app…
  • Once worked now crashes.

The “Tonight” button in the bottom menu bar used to work but now it crashes the app. You have to go to the search button now to get to items for viewing. How could the developers miss this function?

This app is unusable it crashes soon as it opens. Have reinstalled and uninstalled twice and nothing is working. Very frustrating to do observations and this app won’t even stay on. How about an update sometime to fix this. Did a Google search and this is a known problem. Don’t recommend this app until it starts working again. Glad I had Stellarium that app worked perfectly.
