    Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE THE GAME!!! But it needs serious improvements. I shouldn’t have to fight for my life or spend REAL money to get money in game, in a week you hardly make 1500GP and that’s hopping on maybe twice a day (good Gatcha pulls require 2000GP in ONE draw). And that’s on top of how the trading system works 😬. You cannot trade unless you have TWO of the item you want to trade, so my inventory is full of clothes and island decor I do not want and CANNOT get rid of. We should be able to gift and trade ALL items, not just dupes, instead of forcing people’s inventory to clog up with things we didn’t want from the gatcha and someone else does. You gotta keep in mind people don’t have a lot of space on their phone and it’s slowly getting to a point where I’ve got so much stuff I can’t get rid of that I’m gonna have to delete the app due to lack of space, which is really sad considering the rest of the game is really fun. 🤷‍♀️

    The game is cute and simple but one problem is that the rookie only and the daily rewards don’t always update, once it took two days to update. Again awesome game.

    I was hesitant to even give this app any thought, but the little baby duck puff ball creature made me have to try it. Now I’m addicted! It’s actually adorable and a rare gem due to the fact that you can actually free play. It’s fairly easy to obtain ALL currencies in the game without paying money. I’m even surprised to say I’ve already gotten 2 trees! It’s a game you WANT to collect and complete task in cause they are both simple and fun. Making friends is also easy and rewarding in each task you finish. Though 200 friends fills up faster than you would expect! Now it’s real downfall is the trading system. The overall experience would be better if we could trade any items. Not just our duplicates. It actually faults the game by limiting our ability to really customize our island and hom. The customization options are super fun and being limited makes it feel like you’re uninvolved in the community. Please give us this trading experience! I’m sure others agree ;-;

  • Fun But Ultimately a Predatory Gacha Game

    Livly Island is a fun game with a lot of potential, but it’s weighed down by some frustrating mechanics that make it feel like a typical predatory gacha experience. The most glaring issue for me is how stingy the game can be. For example, you’re limited to a small number of friends to receive your daily GP gift, which is something I’ve never encountered in other games. It feels like a cheap way to make you struggle for basic rewards. The trading system is another headache. You can only trade with people after adding them as friends, which is a bit of a hassle and makes harvesting fruit feel inconvenient as well. On top of that, the special shop events could be a lot more enjoyable, but selling duplicate items results in a GP deduction for no reason. It just feels like they’re squeezing every bit of currency out of you for little reward. It’s a shame because the game itself has its fun moments, but these predatory elements really bring it down. If you’re okay with grinding for a long time or spending money to bypass these inconveniences, you might enjoy it, but I’m honestly disappointed by how much it feels like a cash grab.

    Ok the animals (livlys) are so CUTE, the only problem I have with this game is you can’t buy outfits instead of pulling something random. I also would love for there to be a feature where people can make outfits (like take hom items and put them together) and sell them for GP. Otherwise I totally love this game and I recommend it to anyone who likes cute little games like this.

    It’s a good game, but don’t do what I did. I created my account a few months ago and didn’t touch it again. Basically set it up and then closed it and forgot about it. I recently picked it up and decided to actually try to use it and I loved it. Even paid for in game currency. I was super excited about it and becoming addicted. Then I found out there was a limited time lab research (quests, gives you $) for new players that expires 14 days after account creation even if you don’t do it. It gives you very valuable items that are worth a lot. I had been planning on spending more money on this game and getting a membership, but after this I can’t enjoy it anymore and it just makes me sick. Customer service was friendly but unwilling to help find a fix for this. I’m mostly so upset because I found something I really enjoyed and it’s ruined now.
