    I’m a new user and I haven’t purchased anything yet because the platform is so confusing. Every live show is actually a live auction. The items are shown for maybe 20 seconds and then…they’re just gone. There’s no time to think or ask questions and no option to buy later. Also, the video and audio quality on every live I’ve watched has been awful. It can’t be everyone’s streaming device, it has to be something within in the platform. Ans be wary of “giveaways” - you’ll get the item for free and then you’ll be charged for shipping ($15+).

    This Is an horrible app for sellers, the customer wants to steel the money buying your plants and then asking for full refund without sending back the plant.

  • Worst Seller Support I’ve Experienced

    I really wanted to like this platform as a seller, but the customer support is incredibly disappointing. I reached out with a couple of simple yes or no questions, yet the support team (which I suspect is AI) never answered them. Instead, I got irrelevant information that didn’t address my concerns at all. It was frustrating because the answers I needed were straightforward and could’ve been given in seconds. Because of this, I don’t feel comfortable continuing to sell on this site, and I’ll probably remove my listings after posting this review. If support struggles to handle basic questions like mine, I can’t imagine how they would handle more complicated issues. I’ve sold on several platforms since 2017, and this site has the worst customer support and user experience I’ve encountered.

    Been on here daily for about two months now, there will 10/10 times be at least a blip of lag and it’s enough to throw all of the shops off or force a relaunch. The shipping on here dude…this app idea is great and I love it, but some of that shipping will hinder buyers. Speaking from both sides here.

  • Don’t bother if you’re not a big retailer or a favorite of theirs

    I tried to be a retailer for NEW fashion/ accessories and have been a longtime seller on multiple other platforms but was rejected as a retailer although people sell used clothing and other junk on the site they wouldn’t allow me to be a vendor because I don’t have enough IG presence. There are other ways to be present online, and with private clienteling experience I don’t need to be plastered all over the place to have followers and customers. Save your time and go to other sites, I won’t be wasting my time anymore. I’ve also heard of so many stories of preferential treatment of certain sellers and and the system seems a bit archaic. Like selling live go look at comment sold and other platforms that make it SO much easier to sell live.

    Last night I witnessed a woman selling live puppies on the platform. No Ethical breeder would ever rely on this type of platform to sell their dogs. Puppy sales should be personal and educational. What research has been done on the breeder to know that those puppies are in the best hands to begin with? She sounded like a puppy mill describing all the breeds she works with. True breeders work with a breed to preserve and better that breed. They don’t capitalize on faulty genes to make money. It was disgusting to witness that the idea of selling puppies on here ever came true. Shame on Palmstreet.

    The ad says you can find rare plants for $10, but I haven't seen any for that price; they're all more than $50 to $60.

    This app has quickly become my most used app. I am a plant enthusiast - this app isn’t just about buying plants, though. It’s building a community! The live auction/video feature allow realtime interaction. I have made about a dozen purchases (with no end in sight) and my experiences have been great. I have also seen sellers reach out to PalmStreet Support during live auctions and they very quickly jump in the chat and work to resolve any issues - on the spot! There are still a few bugs to work out. (Some lagging here and there, mostly for me it’s just seeing sold items when searching listings. I make sure not to include them but they still show up.) I am very excited to for the future of this app and the enhancements that are yet to come! 💚
