    I need a video editor that allows me to add iTunes music. Clipchamp is great on PC, but not worth anything as an app on iPhone.

    The best thing about this video editing app is that it’s easy to use and free. You can pay for extra features, but I never saw it necessary for the type of videos I make. I mainly make YouTube Shorts and this app is prefect for that. I have used the PC version for longer style videos and it’s hit and miss. Sometimes the picture, sound and/or transition comes out choppy. For this version, the editing process can sometimes be frustrating. The video will look choppy during editing and the sound will sometimes cut off. I will have to close the app and reopen it for the sound to come back. When I process the video, there is no choppiness though. The only choppiness I have when the video is processed is the video transitions. I will have to go in and switch the transition or substitute it for a fade out to get it to go away. At times, the only filter that will work is the black & white filter. I also can’t figure out how to move the captions. They will always stay at the bottom of the video and it won’t let me click on the texts to move them. There is plenty of options when it comes to effects, filters (when it works), texts and transitions. If you want a free app to get started with and learn how to edit, this is the one for you. This is the video editor I taught myself how to use and other editors are pretty similar to this one. I do have an older IPhone (XR). Some of these problems might not occur with newer and more powerful phones.

    Absolutely love being able to splice my videos and take out the awkward bits to make it as smooth and presentable as possible. Great for montages and compilations too. Seamless and easy to understand how to use, you’ll get the hang of it real quick and won’t be able to go back, it’s good for family/friend vids as well as professional use. Use it almost weekly and I’m not even on social media lol, just an awesome inner circle.
