Description

Newly added: Sky background, a new WatchOS 10 app with Smart Stack widgets, native mac app, rain & snow alerts and vertical (in a Dark Sky app style) layout option. Weathergraph is a beautiful visual hourly weather widget and forecast for Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with the Apple Watch app, watchface complications and weather alerts. Powered by Apple Weather, Foreca, Pirate Weather (aggregating NOAA's HRRR, GFS and GEFS), Open-Meteo, and yr.no/met.no. It shows: - Nowcast (real-time rain & snow forecast updated every 30 minutes – PRO only) - Rain & snow alerts based on nowcast data (PRO) - Hour-by-hour temperature (main colorful line) - Hour-by-hour precipitation — rain, and snow (blue chart) - Hour-by-hour cloudiness (cloud cover) and sunshine (clouds on top + sun rays) - Hour-by-hour wind speed (red line) and direction (red arrows) - Hour-by-hour precipitation or dew point (dotted line) - Hour-by-hour atmospheric pressure, absolute, or rate of change (purple line or arrows) - Hour-by-hour UV index (rainbow dashes) - Real day/night (sky color) - Daily temperature minimum and maximum (overlaid above chart) - Actual temperature and place (on the top) - Sunrise and sunset times Hikers, runners, bikers, kite surfers, pilots, and many outdoor enthusiasts around the world love the at-glance readability, customizability, and reliability. Weathergraph is offline capable. The app caches the last acquired forecast for up to 24 hours, allowing you to hike or run outside the network (or go running or biking with a wifi-only Apple Watch) and still see the most recently fetched data. The data refreshes automatically once a connection is available. The hourly forecast is updated every hour, nowcast and rain alerts update every 30 minutes. If rain or snow is expected during the next 3 hours, you will get a notice on a widget (iPhone, iPad & Mac), a large complication (Watch), and a detailed 3-hour precipitation chart in the app. Nowcast and alerts are powered by Foreca and depend on the precision of rain radars in your area. Weathegraph cares about your privacy. No ads, no tracking, and no sharing of locations with third parties. This is how I want all the apps on my phone & watch to behave. You can unlock professional Apple Weather, Foreca, Open-Meteo, and Dark Sky forecast sources, weather alerts, nowcast, and all styles and options via a reasonably priced subscription, which covers the cost of data and allows me to further improve Weathergraph. One-time Weathergraph Forever unlock is also available. Thank you for your support! If you liked Dark Sky, Weather Line, Weathertron, or Weather Strip, then Weathergraph might be the best replacement :). Privacy policy and terms of use: https://weathergraph.app/privacy Please note: Subscriptions made on Apple devices will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel once activated. Manage or turn off your subscriptions in App Store app > Account > Subscriptions.

  • Great program but not good support

I purchased this program 2 months ago. The program is very nicely done but after his last updates the program consistently loses its purchase authorization and goes to a default black background.bif lucky I Cann restore it but 3vtimrs a day is poor. Uninstsling and reinstalling fixes it for an hour. For a program costing this much the service support is poor. There are some updates such as one within the past several days that caused my issues. Sending debug logs from the app followed up by email to support yield no response. The only responses I have ever received is that he is so busy he can't respond. Very disappointed. Guess success has gone to his head. The program is useless losing authorization multiple times a day. If he won't respond to issues he should withdraw the program and stop selling it. It's a shame that this programmer does not have the seire to respond to issues.
  • Beautiful and data rich

Only wish is that the widgets could refresh on their own. Mine frequently just say “forecast too old” but my other weather widgets seem fine. Not sure why that is. Update 4/10: since I wrote this and received a response I have not noticed this issue recurring for me.
  • Best Visuals but NO family sharing??

Love the visuals, but no family sharing after paying ninety dollars is frustrating. Enable family sharing.
  • So many purchase prompts

This app shouldn’t have a free version, because free is really an endless stream of full screen popups to purchase a subscription. 5 stars for beautiful app and informative widgets. Minus one star: obnoxious prompts to purchase. Minus another star: tons of missing features
  • Price Gouging

Ridiculously priced for what it is. Who would pay 30 dollars a year for a weather app?
  • Not worth price

Why should I pay $24 a year when the Apple weather app is free and other apps are cheaper? Absolute price gouging compared to other apps. Edit: the cost of weather data is a lot lower than $24 a year, and the value of the app does not make up for it.
  • Bit cagey about requiring a subscription to function

I suppose it’s sort of obvious once you open the app, but nowhere in the description or on the app’s website does it explicitly say that it requires a subscription. Developer also doesn’t seem to answer support emails. That plus a couple of bugs in the app itself and I just can’t give this one a good review.
  • Only current location weather

I would love to upgrade to a paid version but there is no option to see weather for anywhere but your current location. I mainly need a weather app for travel. I did ask the developer a year or so ago via email about other location support but never heard back. Now I can’t get past the upgrade to paid screen so I needed to delete it anyway. I tried reinstalling but same issue. I will check back in the future to see if I am able to use it. The privacy policy is not bad and I want to support an independent developer. If you need only weather for your current location you should check it out, it’s detailed and information is well presented.
  • Like it but no radar!

I really like the layout and simplicity but it is overpriced for not having built in radar. The NWS radar page is trash. I won’t pay for something that does not have radar.
  • Already overpriced, just raised again

You can’t even use the app without paying or starting a trial.
