I really wanted to like this app. My main hope was it use it for its study time (blocks all non-educational apps/websites) and to be able to monitor calls and messages. Unfortunately, it cannot control the brawl stars app, which apparently is a different system, nor can it control iMessage. I wish I had know this before purchasing. Secondly the call and text monitoring is useless. I’ve had the app about a week and this constantly glitches. I’ve removed all my kids devices and then reinstall them. Same thing. Customer support gets back with you quickly (via email), but it’s basically auto generated list of troubleshooting. Which I’ve already tried. For $100, it shouldn’t be so much work on my end.

Added the app since my kids school is utilizing it. The initial log in seemed seemed more like an advertisement presentation that almost makes it look like your going to be able to see everything they look up, and It seems great on the surface with the cool graphs that show usage metrics but in reality this base version the school opted for doesn’t show usable information on what they’re searching for on different search engines. I expected more detailed historical data especially on the google search history because those searches can reveal alot about what’s on their minds. I see some websites blocked which is great and all but honestly I don’t care that they spent 17% more time on some online learning site the school requires. I want to see the sites and searches that they use as workarounds to play games and do other things like we did as punk kids with ghostproxy.com back in the day. Software isn’t perfect and there’s always blind spots, but since I only see percentages….its useless. I’m sure it has these capabilities but the school district chose the famous but obvious choices…. keep underpaying its hardworking teachers, give the school board another raise, and defer to the $9.99 version of this app that shows a graph and my kids name.

The screen time gets lost across the apps being used. Ineffective app. Not worth it
  • Useless

Call and messages DO NOT WORK FOR iOS. Might work for a few days and then just stops. I’ve been dealing with this for over 2 years and reported this over and over. I’m always told to delete snd reinstall the app. They are not willing to actually fix the issue or admit that it’s flawed. Waste of money and gives a false sense of safety.

I had trouble with configuring my son’s phone after paying $100+ for the annual subscription. I emailed the company twice and only received a message saying they received my message and nothing more. The website even said I could get customized help for my exact needs. I’m very disappointed after having read such glowing reviews and would like a refund.

When you set daily time limits and your child reaches their time limit, they can still text and FaceTime. My goal in purchasing this app was to limit daily usage and cut off access after a certain time in the evening. This app fails at these simple tasks. Avoid spending money on this app if those are your goals.
  • Calls and Messaging not reliable

The calls and messaging feature is unreliable, which is the primary reason I wanted this app; to monitor my child’s text interchanges. The messages will update for about an hour and then stop randomly at some point during the day. Then I have to go back onto the desktop, and sync the desktop app again, which then sends a message to his phone asking if he trusts this device. This has been a total nightmare for $100!!!!
