  • Freezing & buffering

    I love Discovery +, but for the past 2 months most every show I watch either freezes completely, sound & words don’t match mouth movements or it buffers. Not sure if this is a Discovery + thing, but no other streaming service I have on my Roku have any problems. Please please look into this .

    I have noticed lately that new episodes are not available same day or next day like usual. It is taking 2-4 days.

    Why am I paying for this app when you don’t have the most recent episodes of some of the programs? Expedition X is the one at the top of the list right now. Is that one of the ones on Max the next day? Why is it there when it should be on Discovery? Don’t suggest that I subscribe to Max. If I wanted to I would have already.

    I am disappointed in the app lately. I’m not seeing one of my favorites, Expedition X, update with the latest season. Is there a reason for this? I’ve had this for years, I don’t want to let it go but why bother if it doesn’t update? Other shows do, so what’s up?

    The new episodes feature within the app hasn’t updated in about a month. This is very irritating as I don’t know when new seasons start or new episodes of shows I’m watching post to the app and are available. Please fix it!

    My teenage granddaughter and I tried to watch several cooking shows together over screen share. She gets so angry and frustrated because the Discovery+ stream never seems to work well. We finally given up and watch other streaming platforms during our limited time together. FaceTime together has always been our way to connect since she is a military brat as was I. We've developed a super strong relationship over FaceTime and sharing some of our favorite shows no matter where they were stationed was our means to connect. But we can't do Discovery+ it just makes us both angry and we don't want that to be part of our relationship when we are trying to enjoy being together. The details matter. A little things matter. Discovery+ has lost side of the importance of the details. It's even difficult to find The shows we want to watch all the time. I'm just going to go back to recording on my DIRECTV and watching with my granddaughter from the playback. No need to pay for the app because it's worthless to both of us!

    Shows that are released on HGTV are not available right away on this app. Sometimes it takes months for them to steam. Also the new episodes tab does not actually upload the newest episodes anymore. Thinking of canceling my add free subscription and just watching via my tv provider.
